TL;DR
- Don't enter the megathread before seeing it (even if you have to wait a bit for it to come to your city).
- Don't post spoilers anywhere but the megathread for the next week. After that be sure to keep post titles vague and mark YCSE posts with the spoiler tag.
- Support our boy by seeing his new movie opening weekend.
Who would have thought nearly 9 years after the final episode of Nathan For You (November 9, 2017 to be exact) we'd still have fresh Nathan content served up as often as we do? We're so blessed. We (mods) jumped the gun a few weeks ago and posted a megathread to talk about You Can See Everything because a few commentors had asked for somewhere to talk about it. We 100% own that we posted that way too early and took it down just a few hours after it was first posted.
The same thread is back up and should ONLY be accessed by those who have seen it. I personally haven't seen it and while I fully intend to see it this weekend will be avoiding it like a Doink-It (I'm not a baby). That said, anything posted in the spoiler thread about YCSE is fair game as people who have seen it deserve a place to be excited and share their thoughts on it. THAT said, keep spoilery posts/comments to the Megathread for the next week to give people the chance to see it. Any posts about the content of the movie made to the main feed will be removed until 10/22/26. After that posts with the spoiler tag and vague post titles will be allowed.
Ultimately this is meant to be fun! Go see it this weekend (if able) and do your part to give our Canada's top business school grad really good Opening Weekend box office grades! The more money it makes at the box office opening weekend the better chance it has to receive a wider release. A wider release means more of our students of the Fielder Method will get the chance to see it.
Good chat!

Ran through a rewatch in prep for "you can see everything" and after the diarrhea times episode I figured I'd look to see if I could track down a physical copy. Lo and behold! Proud owner.

This commercial popped up and I could’ve sworn I recognized the guy on the left.

Going to see this with the gf this weekend, and she has no real knowledge of Elizabeth Holmes and her story. Does the film provide enough context that she can understand what the general public already knows about Holmes? Thinking of finding a video that could provide a primer to that saga, if the film does not explain. Anyone who has seen the doc, feedback is appreciated.

Or at least most of the ones on dating apps. And TikTok. And at the gym.

The Plan: Generate millions of dollars in free publicity for a small Brooklyn curiosity shop by refusing to sell Kelly Clarkson a mechanical bird, offering her a cheaper bird instead, and the letting her tell her 8 million followers all about your business for free.

I watched Season 2 first for some reason. So far I think Nathan For You is my favorite, followed by The Rehearsal Season 2, and then Season 1 (I am only on episode 2 lol, but just from the general vibe I have a feeling this is going to continue being a couple steps below his other work)

I am rewatching it, and it's pretty cool. Nathans first "movie" on the show was "The Web" starring the very real Johnny Depp. That of course was a farce, and if you just judged that you wouldn't think he was much of a filmmaker at all, more just a silly comedian.
However, if you keep watching the show, you eventually get to the series finale, "Finding Frances" with the worlds best Bill Gates impersonator, looking for his long lost love. Thats the basic premise. The episode is even feature film length at 1 hour 23 minutes, (You can See Everything is 2 hours 54 minutes btw), and the way this episode is filmed documentary style, is actually incredibly artful, skillful, and downright GOOD if not GREAT. It really lays the ground work for the style of his next show "The Rehearsal" where the budget, scale, and characters interviewed only expands. This of course leads us to "You Can See Everything" featuring Elizabeth Holmes, arguably his most interesting subject yet, and by all accounts a masterful film. (Havent seen it yet cant wait)
Finding Frances, is a really well made documentary film masquerading as a Nathan For you Episode, and I think the first time I saw it it even made me cry. I am rewatching it now, and I want to encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to look it up and try to find it. It's really good and I think the perfect precursor for Nathans movie this weekend. Really looking forward to it.

It’s a 2X that I altered down to a M/L to fit better. Definitely wearing it to the You Can See Everything premier :)

Hey everyone,
As a fellow graduate of one of Canada's top business schools with really good grades, I know how important reliable logistics are.
I recently placed an order for some Summit Ice gear, but it's been a little while and I haven't heard much about shipping updates. Has anyone ordered anything from them recently? If so, did your order end up arriving, or should I expect a bit of a wait?
Just want to make sure the Holocaust happened and my jacket is on the way! Thanks.
