I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this. My cat is missing in the Whites Creek area and hasn’t come home in 4 days. I’ve looked all over my property but no luck. This post will probably do nothing but In hopes of the opposite, his name is Bear and here is his photo

$10 for any classical concert, $20 for anything else. A lot of stuff on the schedule I'm looking forward to, including The Music of Studio Ghibli. Just getting this out there to support the cause. The orchestra is playing at a very high level and it's very much come as you are.

National Treasure Where's Pinky?

I drove down Charlotte Avenue today and didn't see Pinky the Elephant out in front of the car wash. Did I just flake out and miss him, or is he really gone? I love that big pink guy.

Politics Early voting continues today - vote any any early voting location from 8am-7pm today, 10/15.

Full list of times and locations for early voting here: https://www.nashville.gov/departments/elections/voters/find-early-voting-information

Remember, you can vote at any early voting location during this period. On election day, you are restricted to just your designated polling place.

What's up for election this year? Find our sample ballot here: https://www.nashville.gov/departments/elections/voters/find-2026-election-information

Many critically important local elections are happening, including our governor's race, US house and senate, state house and senate, amendments, and more. I recently heard someone say "The further down the ballot you go, the closer you get to your own front door." and damn if that's isn't the truth!

I was in and out of my early voting location yesterday within 5 minutes door to door. Don't forget to take your valid state or federal ID!

Discussion Magic The Gathering @ Yazoo

I know there’s a group that used to get together there every other Saturday, is that still a thing? If it is, is it this Saturday? If not, who wants to play some EDH at Yazoo while it’s still in its currently glory. Got a couple friends new to playing that want to get more play in without it being sanctioned events like at TNLG.

We were at the Marriott last night & there were no less than 2 dozens police cars outside of the Starbucks on the bottom floor of the Embassy. This seems like something that would be reported on.

Visiting | Tourist Nashville met my expectations

So i was in nashville this past week for work. It was my first time ever. In my mind I assumed nashville was a bunch of bars and girls would go bar hopping wearing cowboy boots and hats.

And I guess I was right lol. I saw a lot of pretty white girls running around with their groups wearing boots and in bars etc. There's even a scene for older folks too! The ratio of girls to guys was crazy though. Saw WAY more girls for sure. Like 3:1 ratio if not more. Surprisingly didnt see too many black folks.

I didnt expect the amount of homeless I saw. And the weather was AMAZING!

I went to a coffee shop and I was the only guy there. It was me and a 20+ girls

Cool city though. May visit again

Music | Venues And yet another post about The Truth

I wish the discourse around The Truth made more sense to me.

Of course it sounds good in there. Of course it’s a beautiful venue. Of course amazing artists are going to play there. They want you to go!

They spent a lot of money on it so it fucking better be awesome.

It’s a billion dollar corporation with a literal monopoly on the music industry and it’s killing independent venues.

At some point artists have to choose to opt out of these mob style tactics Live Nation calls business.

And as consumers it’s impossible to ask us to opt out because…life’s hard enough and sometimes you just want to see a band you like between your soul sucking job and death. It’s not your fault.

But please for the love of god, for every ticket you buy for a show at The Truth- go to an independent venue for 1/2 the price or LESS.

Your choices matter, so please support local music as much as you can!!!
