Hey people,
I've seen many people abuse the user flairs on this sub so we're no longer allowing users to set their own custom flairs. In its place, use this thread to suggest common flairs you'd like to see on this sub. The top comments on this thread with positive karma will be the the flairs we put on the sub, at the most top 10 will be selected.
Please write ONLY the flair you wish to submit in your comment. Put the explanation, context etc as a reply to the main comment.
The contest is live as long as this post is up. All the best!

Hi r/Nagpur!
We've seen a recent uptick in viewership, for reddit in general as well as this sub, and I think a lot of these people don't really know how reddit works which has made moderating the sub increasingly difficult. I will not go on 'teaching' reddit, but I will just reiterate a few basic things that pertain to this sub in particular.
TL;DR: Read the rules, report posts that you think break the rules. If you do not want to get banned: do not post about dating, ticket sales or use abusive language in your posts and comments.
And that's it! Do reach out via this post or through the modmail if you have anything to add and we will definitely reach out, unless you're asking us to unban you after getting banned for saying the most unhinged shit, you'll always get a reply.

I'm sure we could all map out Maharashtra even without the borders present. Maharashtra tops interestingly in almost all sectors. Proud to be marathi.

I think a lot of people tell you what to order but people rarely tell what NOT to order at a place. So if you ever visit Huboho cafe in Nagpur- DON’T order their pan fried noodles and sourdough toasties. The worst sourdough I had in Nagpur. I ordered a mushroom cheese sourdough toast and the cheese was bitter, like PROPER BITTER. Their coffee is below average honestly. Great aesthetics and vibe but food is bad.

A formal case has been registered by the Vadoda Police against Anjali Nandanwar and Ayan Sheikh for identity fraud and cheating during the Surbhi Garba Mahotsav at Chattarpur Farms, Nagpur. Nandanwar had booked entry passes, and Sheikh allegedly accessed the venue using a forged Aadhaar card bearing an alias to clear identity verification.
After they entered, social media posts shared from inside alerted members of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, who raised objections with on-site security. Upon cross-examination by the organizers' security staff, his genuine identity was uncovered, prompting an official complaint and an FIR by the police.

I just turned 25, and I don’t really know how to feel about it.
There’s a part of me that’s scared. I look around and see people my age getting into great colleges, building careers, earning well, falling in love, getting married, and seemingly figuring life out. Meanwhile, I sometimes feel like I’m still trying to find my footing. It’s hard not to wonder if I’m falling behind, if I’ve wasted time, or if I should be much further ahead by now.
But there’s another part of me that feels strangely hopeful.
Because when I look back, I realise how much can change in a few years. How life can take you places you never expected, how the things you once thought would break you eventually become things you learn to live with, and how you can become a completely different person without even realising it.
I’ve been through things that the younger version of me wouldn’t have known how to handle. I’ve had to adjust, let go, start over, and keep going even when I didn’t feel particularly brave. Maybe I haven’t achieved everything I thought I would by this age, but I’m not the same person I was at 20, either.
And maybe that’s something worth acknowledging.
I think what scares me most about turning 25 is the feeling that time is moving faster, that I’m supposed to have something substantial to show for it by now. But I also want to believe that life isn’t a race with a deadline. That people find their way at different times. That sometimes life falls apart, sometimes it takes an unexpected turn, and sometimes, somehow, it still finds a way.
I don’t have everything figured out. I’m still scared of the future, still comparing myself to people who seem miles ahead, and still trying to understand what I want my life to look like.
But I’m also curious about the person I’ll become in the next five years.
So here’s to being 25. A little scared, a little sad about the time that’s passed, but quietly hopeful about everything that hasn’t happened yet.
Maybe I’m not where I thought I’d be by now. But maybe I’m not done becoming who I’m meant to be, either. ❤️

Hi Nagpur,
This one’s personal, so bear with me.
I grew up here. [Morning walks at Futala, chai at Sitabuldi, a gym in Dharampeth where the trainer knew everyone’s name.] That trainer cared about every one of us. But I also watched him sit in the corner every night, scrolling through 50 WhatsApp chats, trying to remember who trained, who skipped, and who still hadn’t paid.
The good coaches in our city work so hard, and almost none of that work is the actual coaching. It’s chasing.
So for the last 1.5 years, after work and on weekends, I’ve been building Kazrat, an app made right here in Nagpur for personal trainers, yoga teachers, pilates instructors and physios.
What it does:
Apps:
Honestly, I’m proud of it. Not because it’s perfect (it isn’t yet), but because it was built by someone from here who wants our coaches to spend their time coaching.
Now I need your help.
I’m running a free 4-week Kazrat pilot from November 2 to 29, and I’m looking for 12 coaches from Nagpur. You’d be the people who shape what Kazrat becomes.
Not a coach? I’d still love your feedback. 🙏
If you’ve ever had a trainer, gone to a yoga class, or quit the gym halfway, tell me what made you stay or what made you leave. What did your trainer do that helped? What annoyed you? Every comment helps me build this better, and criticism is welcome too.
If you’re a coach, or you know a trainer, yoga teacher or physio who deserves an easier life, please comment, DM me, or tag them.
It would mean a lot if the first city Kazrat grows in is ours. 🧡

please someone tell me what is the best company for wifi/broadband services in nagpur. I've tried vi, airtel, jio, gtpl & currently i am on this service called ONE broadband. And this one sucks. Atleast once or twice in a week there is some issue & errors and since I work remotely, this is frustrating AF. What's the solution here? I live in south nagpur.

Hey everyone!
I’m 19M from Nagpur and I’m hoping to meet some people around my age and make some genuine platonic friendships.
I’m just looking for chill people to talk to, share random stuff with, joke around, have good conversations, and maybe hang out sometime.
I’m not really looking for those one-day conversations where we talk and then disappear. If you’re also looking to make some friends in Nagpur, feel free to DM me!
Tell me a little about yourself — let’s be friends :)

Ye chai dabba Nagpur ki speciality hai aaj pehli baar sun raha hun. Mai toh chhote cup chai me 8-10 Parle G daalkar banata tha bachpan me.
Dikhne me toh accha lag rha hai. Address bta dena agar pata ho kaha milta hai ye 🥹🤤😋
Update to my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/nagpur/s/qwupFkvdyL) this was the last day of the Garba events at Raas Garba, Khamla.
Over the past week, I made an amazing banarasi friend (2nd pic). And yesterday, I broke my own record again with 1.5+ hours of non-stop Garba. Still no prize whatsoever, but (inserting that meme: mayus hu, par umeed pe duniya kayam hai, dil dukha hai par tuta toh nahi hai aur umeed ka daaman chhuta toh nahi hai 😂)
On the bright side, I met a really beautiful and brilliant fellow Redditor (3rd pic), so I'm counting it as a win anyway.
We're planning to visit a different venue today if possible. If anyone wants to join us, feel free and girls, you're especially welcome!

I’m looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB for around ₹80,000. I checked local shops, but the prices are higher. Some Reddit users claim they got it for ₹75,000–₹76,000. Where can I find similar deals? Please suggest authorised Samsung dealers, reliable online stores, or any offers and discounts available. I prefer a new, sealed Indian-warranty unit. Also, please share your purchase experience, dealer contacts, and the final price you paid.

I'm an independent backend and AI engineer looking for one sales partner to help bring genuine business clients to my development business.
I build custom backends, APIs, full-stack business software, and agentic AI and automation systems that integrate with businesses' existing software.
Your role
I'll handle the technical discussions, development, deployment, and delivery.
Compensation
How payments work
Clients typically pay 50% upfront and 50% on completion. For larger projects, payments may be split into four 25% installments instead.
Your commission is paid proportionally as I receive each client payment. For example, if the client pays 50% of the project fee upfront, you receive 50% of your total agreed commission at that stage. If the client pays in four installments, your commission follows the same schedule.
I'm looking for someone proactive who can build genuine business relationships and is comfortable with B2B outreach and follow-ups. I'd prefer someone interested in building a long-term working relationship based on results.
Interested? Email me with a short introduction, any relevant sales experience, and how you'd approach finding clients.
