Fit Check! Checking fit for Charlie!

Brand is Big Snoof. Asking for opinions on Charlie’s new muzzle. She will be wearing it for outings/walks and occasionally inside the house.

Pic 1 is the first try - I think it’s too short with the tip of her nose just touching the wire. She didn’t seem bothered but I would worry about her nose rubbing too much.

Pice 2 is a notch looser on the head strap. She can still reach treats and the muzzle doesn’t move around much. She seemed unbothered the whole time she did her training (except when a treat fell on the floor and she tried to reach it, then she noticed something was on her face), so I think it’s okay.

The pant room is definitely enough, mostly just asking for the length and where it’s supposed to sit on her nose.

Last 2 pics are my other pup Stella. Including them just cause she’s cute 🥰 but she is definitely not sitting still enough for me to get a good photo yet.

Question! Muzzle for a smaller dog

because miss maple here has a bite on record she needs to get a muzzle to comply with city ordinance. She currently has a baskerville classic size 3 for nail trims and vet appointments, but it’s not big enough for her to pant so she can only where it for short bursts.
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a smaller dogs, preferably metal? i see a lot of recommendations for big snoof and muzzle movement but from what i can tell they are more geared towards large dogs.

Maple is about 25 pounds, her muzzle length is about 3 inches long and 4.5 inches around. Any recs?

Frenchie is a licker

I've never had to muzzle a dog, but I may need to. One of my two frenchies has an ear infection that needs topical ointment. The other frenchie licks it off and may have cause or exacerbated the infection with prior licking. I realize it's too late for the current issue, but do you have suggestions for muzzle type and how to train her?
