Why does the U.S. Constitution establish a minimum age of 35 for the presidency but no maximum age?
I’d like to propose an idea for public discussion: a constitutional amendment establishing 60 as the maximum age at which a person can begin serving as President of the United States.
Under this proposal, a person would need to be under 60 when taking office. Someone who begins a presidential term before turning 60 could complete that term.
The presidency carries enormous responsibilities, including national security, military decisions, international diplomacy, and leadership during national emergencies. I believe it’s worth having a national conversation about whether presidential eligibility requirements should include an upper age limit.
I recognize that age alone does not determine someone’s health, judgment, experience, or ability to lead. I also recognize that any change would need to consider voters’ choices, fairness, and the constitutional rights of candidates. These are important issues for the public to debate.
I’m sharing this idea for others to consider, discuss, and potentially develop into a serious proposal for constitutional reform.
I’m not seeking to organize or lead a campaign. If individuals, advocacy groups, legal experts, or policymakers believe this idea has merit, they are welcome to explore it, refine it, and pursue it independently.
Sometimes an idea starts with one person, but its future belongs to whoever chooses to take it forward.

30s female, looking for emergency ride to Billings, Montana from Missoula, Montana as soon as possible as I am currently in recovery and living in a sober living home I don’t have my own vehicle or much to offer for fuel although I do have some cash and great company. I am trying to make it to billing to spread my father’s ashes at a body of water dear to his heart.
light traveler, basically myself, and my personal day belongings if there is any way anyone can help or pass it along to someone they may know can help I would be so beyond grateful and will 110% pay it forward in the future.

26M. Any advice for making friends during winter? I like to go out and have fun, just not sure how active the social scene is during the winter outside of the obvious activities. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi! My apartment uses coin laundry. However I’m having a hard time finding places to exchange bills for quarters. Where are some easy places to get quarters?

This is some of the craziest traffic I've ever seen here, the traffic starts by the Walmart at lower miller creek and by the looks of it runs all the way up the bend too lolo.
Anyone know what's going on?
Edit: It's for construction, and why in the hell did they do it on a non school day?? Finally at the peak after 40 minutes..
r/missoula • u/Canicutonit • 14h ago
Google says its gonna take me 35 min to get from Miller Creek to Lolo. Looks awful. Avoid the area!
Anyone know when it's supposed to be done? Or even what they're doing?

The Secretary of State maintains the voter rolls and constantly updates them to indicate who’s voted and who hasn’t. The campaign uses these lists (they’re public) to target their ads. Once you’ve turned in your ballot, they’ll stop knocking on your door, mailing you crap, etc. This applies to Republicans, Democrats, Independents, everyone. TLDR….VOTE.

I saw these today while walking.
Just months ago they were apartments rented out by Caras Property Management. Now they're being sold via a former city councilor.
Whose crappy apartment is next on the chopping block?
New Missoula for you.

what’s up! i’ve seen a few posts on here looking for similar things, and i know there are events around town for dnd, but i’m looking more for people who wanna try it out in a smaller, more casual setting!
i’m wanting to do my first campaign, but i’m a TOTAL noob, so i’m looking for fellow noobs who wanna learn and figure it out together lol. whether you’ve done all the research but have no actual playing experience, have a little knowledge from baldur’s gate, have always wanted to try dnd, or even wanna try being a dm yourself, i welcome you!!
i’m thinking maybe 4-5 people to start with. i have absolutely nothing planned yet, so this is a very rough idea and an even rougher start from scratch 😂 just wanna see if there are other people interested in getting a group together and seeing where it goes!
no experience necessary, just a willingness to learn, have fun, and be a little nerdy. if you’re interested, comment or shoot me a message!
(we can start off with a little group message here first!)

This is Spam. My cat. He goes out in the morning to pee in the yard but otherwise is an inside boi. He hasn’t come home for a few days now. If you have him in your house please let him come back to my house. I know he’s cute. I know he’s good at cuddles. I know he probably loves those treats you gave him for his big belly. But I miss him. That is all. Thank you 💜

I had a grocery pick up 10/14. There was a men's size ring in one of the bags. I'd like to return it to it's owner. If it might be yours, let me know.

My friend and I went running and came across this van with four people in it. Two younger guys, older man and older woman. The young guy and older man were absolutely destroying the two dogs. Punching screaming slapping them and punching them hard in the face. Guy got out and stood and stared at me. Had to call the cops .. anyone have any idea who/how to find them I’m sick to my stomach

I was going to post that I'm looking for sound dampening material (egg crate foam, acoustic panels, etc) but second guessed myself thinking this might not be the subreddit for it. Then someone posted looking for a washer. Is this the best place to find people getting rid of stuff in town or do we need a sub for it? Also, any amateur engineers or podcasters with acoustic panels to spare? Or places to find scrap of said items?

I used to get my meds from granite pharmacy, but my insurance won’t cover there any more. I’ve been having literally HORRIBLE experiences with both Walgreens locations in town. Please please please lmk if you recommend any pharmacies and generally have a good experience at said pharmacy!!!!
