Found my old old childhood collection. Are any of these cars competitive in 2026 or am I better off buying something new and building a car out that way

I went starting on my project mini4wd making with handmade self car mini4wd spending hour project n share with good content, but i dont have any tools right now because very expensive price set to buy every single tool once at all. I want deposit my money to storage before I can afford until, ready for join mini4wd contest!!!. And still countinue community on post reddit for few ask question. Checking post everyday but less here people than popular FB group, Sad 😥 my FB got disable for no reason and i cant communicate for other people to finding hobby race events. However, i reading only n answer for help people mention to u. If u have any question i can answer to comment session. I just only share on my piture about mini4wd for u, very busy when need money deposit into wallet n while play video game too. I stay home n go outside with fresh oxygen n waiting on join ask from member to join mini4wd competition event to share post with reddit, post or message, whatsoever. Is there a factory created wheels that is already pierced by default? I'm using small diameter tires.

Just saw this from a page in Facebook. Ngl, I really like it and I'd like to try it as well. My only concern is will it be allowed in BMAX or any other Stock class. I just wanted to make sure I do it within regulations so I don't regret it later.

The original Clod Buster was my first Tamiya RC build as a kid, so I’ve been looking for the Clod Buster Junior version for a VERY long time. Finally found one that’s never been assembled, with all the parts still sealed in their original packaging. Pretty excited to finally have one after all these years. Definitely brings back some childhood memories!

I'm juggling projects inside and outside Mini 4WD. I decided to resume work on my Tyxiv before working on a bigger project.

More stickers will be added, but I'm loving how this looks already.

Hi, I am a total beginner with Blast Arrow starter pack and have some question about installing 15457 13-12mm plastic double rollers on it.

The starter pack comes with fully threaded long screw for the rollers and I notice that the plastic double rollers is supposed to be installed on a smooth portion of a shorter screw.

Can I install them as is on the starter pack's fully threaded screws (I want to keep using a longer screw)? Do I need to add brass tube like the ones included on the aluminium roller set? Or do I need to change the screws to AO threaded screws that have the smooth part on it?

Will test run this weekend. I also have a different set of rigid front roller setup; using fully cowled plates and 13mm rollers to swap and compare. Lets see how it goes!

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with the tamiyausa site. None of the items on site can be added to carts on my end, and I was curious if anyone else had this issue

Another MS Flex project finished! This time I wanted something with a darker, more sinister villain vibe.

Went with a metallic chameleon purple, and added neon green, orange, and black accents for that evil, futuristic racing look.

As usual, I'm experimenting with different aesthetics and setups rather than following the conventional open class formula.

Just to clarify, I'm not using 100% original Tamiya parts. I don't compete in official races, and some of the parts I want either aren't made by Tamiya or are simply sold out. So I use whatever works best for the build.

For me, the fun is in the building, painting, experimenting, and creating something unique. I want each car to have its own character rather than looking like every other setup.

My philosophy remains the same: track ready, but display worthy. Performance matters, but so does looking good!

What do you guys think of this one?

Last time I went to the hobby and bought new wheels and tires. I changed the original wheels to carbon wheels, and also I changed the front tires from Super hard to low friction.

Recently there’s a lot of aurora version came out. For me its a ‘scam’. Kinda like enomoto. Not that its scam scam, but its not official tamiya if you know what i mean.

The reason there’s a lot of demand is because how pretty the cowl can be with this aurora effect.

I collected few version myself. But as soon as i see the Proto Emperor version, man. I know i have to get it. Aurora on a purple cowl? That's the aurora effect on steroids.

Whats your thoughts on the aurora release in general?

I’m new to building, and this part chipped while I was testing it. Any tips on how to fix it, or do I need to swap out the chassis?

Hi I'm new and looking to improve on VZ. I have decided to run this chassis because not alot of people play it. I find the mid wings really flimsy and am looking for ways to reinforce it.
