Every parent level comment should begin with one of the following categories:
[For Sale] concert tickets, beauty and grooming services, Ikea bookcases
[For Free] dental checkups and couches that you can totally have for free but you have to move them yourself
[Want to Buy] * Rave tickets, a used toaster, a cute puppy*
[Job Request] You're new to the city and are looking for work in IT or you hate your job and need some leads. Be sure to include your skills and qualifications. A lot of people on this sub love to help others but they can't do that if they don't know your background and interests.
[Job Announcement] You're looking for new team members for a fantastic job that ISN'T a scammy ca$h4work gig or MLM
[Living Arrangements] You need a roommate, an apartment, or are offering a living arrangement. Be sure to clarify your tidiness expectations because you never know what you're going to get when accepting a roommate and I'm NOT GOING TO DO YOUR DAMN DISHES ANYMORE REBECCA
[Personals] You're lonely, new to the city, want to play extreme Frisbee, or need someone to eat Ian's Pizza with because no one wants to do that alone. We understand.
[Event] An advertisement for your amazing upcoming event - like a urban foraging excursion or band performance that is totally going to blow the roof off

this sweet boy is butter, and my partner and I found our back door open (though we don’t know how it got open)! We noticed at 11:55 pm. He would have had to climb down 3 flights of stairs on the back staircase.
He is not an outdoor cat at all and he is not very smart! He might be inquisitive with people but he might not, I really can’t predict how he would react to strangers.
HE IS WEARING A RED FLORAL COLLAR WITH A JINGLE BELL. he has black dots on his lips (as I tried to show in these pictures). he “talks” often in a chirping voice.
Please please if you find him, message me on Reddit for text 6052704400! This cat is my partners whole world, please help us bring him home.
Even if you don’t see him, please share. We will be calling MADACC first thing in the morning 🙏🏻

I live on Ridge Road in Hales Corners, one of the few roads around here still covered by full tree canopy. The Village plans to rebuild it with new ditches and culverts along both sides, which means removing 105 mature trees by their count (closer to 140 by ours). Many are over 100 years old.
We're not against fixing the road. We just want it repaired without clearing it. TMJ4 and the Journal Sentinel have covered the story, and a group of us are pushing the Village to work with residents.
If you care about this, check out Save Ridge Road on Facebook, or come see the road before it changes.

Hey all! I'm from California and have visited the area plenty of times along with having a major interest in fallout/civil defense topics! Over the past few months thanks to obtaining a physical plan of the Milwaukee County map and research from many websites. I put all of the locations on a google map for everyone to view after much research into each location! If I put any wrong information, any old/modern pictures of fallout shelter signs are found from these listed locations, or just wanna get into contact with me? Lemme know through DMs here or an email also listed on the map! Thanks for checking out and supporting my research! :)

What are the best independent bookstores in the Milwaukee area? I prefer new books over used. Even better if they have cute "bookish" gifts.

If you haven't received your ballot in the mail, check your status on the my vote website. My request vanished after almost three weeks of updates on its expected arrival date.
I called the election office, and the wonderful people there were able to assist me with a second request. Unfortunately, they had no idea how it could have happened, as they don't maintain the website.

Been living in WP for a while and there is a heavy stench of gas that comes and goes sometimes. I don't have any gas appliances so it isn't my apartment, but it is so strong that I have to close my windows till it clears up.
I've also smelled the same smell in various areas in the neighborhood that are nowhere near a gas station, and even then a gas station almost never reeks like that. Doesn't seem like milorganite because that smells fertilizer-y, but at this point I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Long time sufferer of deviated septum, sleep apnea and possible other ailments related to my airways. Looking for honest reviews before I potentially cure or destroy my cranium.

I found this asian style straw hat in my grandparents attic in Milwaukee. It clearly has The Braves logo in multiple places on it. I know they were big Milwaukee Braves fans, and I found other Braves memorabilia there. Not sure if this was purchased, a team giveaway or homemade. Has anyone seen anything similar?

Looking at purchasing a new mazda soon, any recs for good dealerships? I’d like somewhere that preferably won’t be a super painful experience, and aren’t hard to deal with god forbid something comes up will honor warranty, etc. I’m willing to drive within a couple hour radius. Thanks

Hello! I am running a FREE Trinket Swap Event this Sunday at Storyhill Firehouse. I was wondering where is a good spot to hang some event posters in MKE? What coffee shops are the best?
