I'm genuinely struggling to imagine a worse way to coil a cable/hose if your goal is to not have a kinked up cable/hose.

In fact, this will specifically not twist or kink the hose. The two coils are matched and wrapped in opposite directions. Now, just tossing it in the back of the truck could cause tangles, but impossible to get kinked or twisted.
