How do you know that's not legit art? Like, seriously, are you assuming or is there some proof or evidence?

The human brain is very good at recognizing patterns and my pattern recognizing brain is telling me it's AI lol

I'm leaning toward not. Yeah, it's the type of thing people use AI for. But notice that the grid lines over the lights are actually even. AI art, even good AI art, almost universally introduces botched patterns, especially at that level of detail. No dead giveaways on the racoon either. Lights in the correct order.
