I have dyshidrotic eczema on both hands. After the itchy micro blister phase, the peeling phase takes over and looks just like this. I use hydrocortisone to try to stave off the itching during the micro blister phase, but I find popping the blisters then treating them with polysporin speeds up the whole process while healing the blisters. In the peeling phase that always follows, I use gold bond lotion to some minor success. I think it's just something I have to get through.

I've got the same!!! Gets worse for me in the heat!!! I call the blisters i leave the "blood phase" because mine tend to fill but I couldnt agree with you more about popping them... not only does it help with the itching but yeh it speeds the whole process up... I very occasionally get them between my toes and on the ball of my feet too... those are horrendous!!!

I was going to ask about the itchy micro blisters which precedes the skin shedding. I had this on my palm and wrist once and it was so bad with the amount of skin peeling off. Each year it would come back milder and milder until it seemed go go away altogether. I never received a diagnosis. Now I know where to start looking. Thanks!

Careful with polysporin. Repeated use of topical antibiotics can lead to contact dermatitis in a lot of cases. If you can, try using plain Vaseline instead. It provides a moist environment for healing without the risk of increased sensitivity around already delicate areas

So the itching was normal? Been reading the comments here, my hands also peel its skin but it never got itchy. Its mostly when I did something that gets my hand scraped while doing an activity. Like when I digged using a shovel, my hands will initiate peeling after 2 days.

I just called this as a womans dream hand because it refuses to get blisters, its smooth as hell. I can't do labor tasks for continuous days because while the peeling itself does not hurt, doing labor tasks with it hurts.

You shouldn’t be suffering like that. Can you get fluocinonide cream? That’s the only thing that helps mine. Having it on hands is absolute torture.
