Do not- and I repeat and emphasize DO NOT grab a fluffy new microfiber towel when your hands are like this if you're tism demons hate texture, you will fucking puke

Unfortunately they are the best for cleaning certain things as they have the best rinse and reuse ability. One day I will not clean houses for work, instead I will clean dog blood off my face from assisting in surgery. I'd rather get bloody puss off my face than deal with microfiber forever. They are good at dusting tho

What the hell kind of butcher shop are you working at??

I thought if blood sprays during surgeries you messed something up

Infections hold alotttt of pressure that is often... surprising? The skin and muscles can stretch inward vs outward (think of a pregnancy that doesn't show much due to how the persons body is carrying) so draining a puncture wound on a cats butt can turn into a fountain pretty quick

If you want some visual examples in a non-surgical context, hoof trimming issues can make literal fountains of pus and blood. There's a lot of footage on youtube.

my gf is in med school and has watched/ helped in dozens of surgeries and she says in the begin she was very freaked out bc she thought this to but blood is actually spraying around relatively often lol. or can at all least happen a long as is not prolonged excessively. anyway fun! one reason they wear face maks

Decades of cleaning literal shit and half a decade of having various animal bodily fluids on me is what is wrong, I spose. If you have pets or have ever visited a sports arena you're welcome. It's dirty, sad, and underpaid work. Someone has to do it!

It’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do ittttt…

Thank you Mike Rowe for many seasons of brilliant television

I'm curious do y'all get freaked out by synthetic sponge textures?

Like I can deal with a microfiber cloths but a sponge tho makes my teeth feel and taste weird the second I touch them.

I can't stand microfiber, sponges are fine for me, but the WORST is that synthetic "sherpa" fabric on blankets and coats. It's bad when it's new and absolutely horrible after it's been washed and dried.

Now that one I can relate to I'm getting itchy and twitchy just thinking about it.

As kids, my brother hated the feeling associated with the sound of nails scratching on denim. Guess what I used to torture him with? Muah-hahahaha😂
