Unskippable ad I keep getting threatening texts

I get these ALL the time. I’ve never donated to these “people.” Never supported them. Never voted for them. Nor has my wife. I received four of these today. All threats. Always a telling me it’s my last chance. These are some of the less malicious-sounding ones.

I’m not even sure they’re legitimately from those parties, though I wouldn’t put it past them.

So… report as spam. Report as spam. Report as spam.

It isn’t like it’s painful. Just pretty irritating.

I signed up for his email list during the last campaign because I wanted to know what he says to his cult followers.

Actually this does explain this phenomenon a little bit. I’m just watching from up north as a Canadian. But I always found it curious how many of MAGA write posts and messages him to him directly where I feel like I haven’t seen it before.

I've never signed up for the texts in my life but maybe because my family members have for the most part, I got added by association (yet they somehow don't have my name even close to correct). Or someone pranked me by adding me to a list. But regardless, there's no escaping from them. I unsubscribe just to get resubscribed later down the line. I just mark them as spam and/or delete them now. Less effort, somehow

My wife is one of the people that bought a ticket to his rally so his supporters couldn't get a seat and she got texts like this for a few months until she blocked them. They were usually claiming that she was personally selected by Trump or she was in a small group personally selected by Trump. They would claim that he had a personal message just for her from Trump if she donated a few bucks.

Oh it’s totally real. Do you remember when TikTok ruined one of his rallies by signing up for a ticket and then not going?

I don’t remember if I was part of that or the very next one, all I know is he was supposed to have a rally about an hour from me so I got a ticket, planning not to go, and he ended up canceling because of the weather. It was a perfect 70° day.

Anyway I don’t remember how many years ago that was but I still get emails from him and my inbox that I used for spam stuff looks exactly like that

They stopped texting me after I started replying to the text about the Epstein files. Human beings actually get those replies so I guess they figured they should unsubscribe me since me trying wasn’t working.

It's so real. I get the same garbage in my texts. Lately it's been constant nonsense about "DOGE refund checks" where the GOP has people thinking they're going to get $5,000 in the mail any day now in return for what the DOGE has apparently "saved" us (y'know, by slashing governmental jobs and entire departments and programs, ones that didn't exactly exist just to throw people's tax dollars in the incinerator)

I did this during thr last election for "funsies", but it didn't spam nearly that bad. My favorites were the personal invites to have dinner with Trump.

They were out there.

I was thinking about doing it again but seeing how many you got in a day? Pass.

Yeah, my grandmother (and likely many others older relatives) signed up for these willingly but they feel bombarded by them now. It's literally filling up their mailbox so they miss important emails.

My grandmother is 90 years old and was asking about if she should spend more time sorting her mailbox and I was like, "I don't think that's really the best use of your time at this point."

I did the same project and only recently did i receive one while wife had my phone and went "what the fuck??"

"No no honey, its pure gold, for free. Just read one, read it out loud!"

It only took 1 for her to start laughing while reading the body.
