I get it

But… as a teacher in a high school Yondr pouches would be so awesome (or just having a school district that mandates zero phone use in school but that’s hard I guess)

My daughter's school had a no phone policy. I completely understood it in lesson times but I don't understand why they couldn't use their phones at break times. Especially when I would call the school to ask them to let her know i was picking her up and not to get on the school bus, and they would say "have you tried calling/texting her?" Er, no, because by your rules she can't use her phone otherwise I wouldn't need you to pass the message on! 😒

It is insanely depressing to walk through the halls of a school and every kid is staring down at their phone.

Or see them sitting around a table at lunch staring at them in total silence.

Damn. I'm glad I went to school in the 90s. Lunch was so fun talking to all my friends, laughing and being silly having a great time. Miss those days so much :(

I went to school in the 90s. We had phones and still had fun and chatted at break times.

I loved that at my kids’ middle school they were not allowed to used phones during lunch….you’d see kids playing card games etc

The powers that be want kids on Draft Kings or Kalshi--they want their cut, and they'll extend credit to kids if they can.

I'm shocked your schools allowed cards. Ours forbid them.
