This was a submission for streamily.live. It was a last minute drawing...took maybe 6 hours or so(on and off). They host voice actors from gams and anime and they choose art to sign and use at cons etc.

Could the Salarians and Turians have handled the Krogan expansion in any other way?

Currently replaying Mass Effect Trilogy Legendary Edition about to finish the first game. Not sure if it was the classic edition or this legendary one, but I remembered somehow romancing BOTH Garrus and Thane in the second game. This carried into the third game and didn't lock me into one when I transferred the saved. Was anyone able to recreate this? All my saved data was on another hard drive that got corrupted 😭

I thought it was bittersweet by the third game (because we all know what happens to Thane)

In the beginning of the DLC, you get a mission complete after destroying the satellite. Does this mean my fish will be dead when I get back to the Normandy?

So i wanna get on this game again, loved every one but idk which versión to get, ik that the LE versión is the best way to play it now but idk if my computer will run it, idk that much about specs other than ram and processor but even those i know just the basic stuff, so i wanna ask if you could tell me if my laptop could run it, oh and i don't mind playing it at 720p (btw sorry for my bad english)

I’ve been a long time fan of this series from way back and have played on console only. I recently picked up a new computer and wanted to try out modding for the first time. I have the Legendary Edition installed from Steam and was able to follow some guides. I was able to play LE1 with mods and it worked out beautifully. After wrapping up the first game I tried starting up LE2 only to be brought right back to the launcher. I thought perhaps it had something to do with my mods so I went to my ME3Tweaks Mods Manager and wanted to restore LE2 using the backup I created. I’m not sure what happened but now everything crashes when I attempt to go to LE2. LE1 loads in fine and Le3 works fine as well. Since I’m not the most tech savvy person I’m thinking I need to start from scratch and uninstall the game unless anyone else here has a suggestion. If I go for the full reinstall do I need to uninstall the mods manager as well? Am I able to safely uninstall the game and keep my mods in the manager or do I go full clean sweep and uninstall the game and mods and all? Any help will be appreciated

It was such a bummer. I was so psyched to play modded ME2 only for my excitement to get blown up like the Collectors did to the SR1

This is my thought if you do the destroyed ending it not only kill edi but all the geth and the quarians who are currently getting their system stable by the geth so they can live without their suit one day I prefer they win without Shepard sacrifice.

Just finished the LE series yesterday. What. A. Ride. Like so many others, I'm left wondering how in the unholy eff I managed to go all this time without playing it, especially since I love big story-driven games like this. Even more especially given how much I love DA:O. The Shore Leave DLC was one of the best bits I've ever played in any game for the dialogue alone.

But man, I'm feeling the blues now! Honestly unlike any other game I've played. Probably the closest for me was Cyberpunk, given the same rather bleak story arc and ultimate ending choices. But this is hitting harder, probably because I played through all the games back to back, pretty much every day. Whatever it is, there's a pretty huge ME-shaped hole in my life right about now.

I've spent a few hours already combing through posts here, from debates over the right ending choice (team destroy here) to memes to hypotheticals about the future maybe-game. Just wanted to say... Y'all rock! Glad I found this subreddit.

How did the rest of you deal with this? I know the obvious answer is start a new run, and I'm sure I will at some point, but right now it just feels... Wrong. Kind sad, actually, weirdly like a betrayal (even more so thinking about a Renegade male Shep run, opposite to what I did). I bought the comic collection on Kindle to fill out some lore, but even a few pages into Redemption I'm feeling bleh because Liara was my romance across all three games.

Got a friend who bought the game on steam and is gonna be playing the legendary edition for the very first time, but the ea launcher isn’t exactly being cooperative and he has tried every trick in the book shared here, on YouTube, and the steam community threads only to still be unable to launch the game.

Any suggestions?

Apparently this is a known glitch? I haven't played mass effect trilogy on my ps5 for about a month. I loaded up my save where I just beat the gameplay sections of the Citadel DLC and my female sheppard was at the apartment exit where the game asks you to go out and buy party supplies. I loaded up this save last night and after doing a couple character interactions in the hub area where you do a movie shoot scene with Javik and/or meet Garrus at a dance club where he awkwardly tries to hit on a female turian, I realized, "wait a minute, in this last playthrough I was fem shep. Why the hell am I playing as male sheppard?"

I went to load game and "switch career" and it was the only career/profile I played this year (In early September last save) and I even loaded an earlier manual save (in this same career) that wasn't an autosave/quicksave and apparently that's the only known way to fix this issue since when I loaded up that save I was back to playing as fem shep leaving the apartment. Also, this glitch is apparently known to get rid of all your credits which I had zero when magically playing as this male sheppard but when I loaded up the manual save that put me rightly back as fem shep, all my 500kish credits were magically back.

Do you guys know of this glitch and have you experienced it before? Its pretty funny that it took me a couple minutes to go, "hold on a minute. Wasn't I fem sheppard in this entire trilogy playthrough I did earlier this year. What the hell?" I'm 100% positive I didn't load a previous career/profile/different sheppard because like I said I loaded saves in this same career and 2 of them had me as male sheppard and the slightly older manual saves loaded me as fem shep. Crazy.

The text often has the same contrast as the background and is difficult to read, does it happen to you too?

In Mass Effect 3 and Leviathan, we learn the origin and goals of the Reapers. To preserve all life. The Catalyst determined that the only way this can be done is to exterminate organics themselves as they are at the apex and soon to be destroyed by their own synthetics and using them as fuel to create Reapers, preserving them theoretically forever as a collective of the whole species.

If the catalyst (no pun intended) of this whole situation is that the Leviathans were tired of eons of thrall races being wiped out by their own creations/synthetics, then why didn’t the Catalyst just hack the synthetics to stop?

They very easily controlled the Geth to worship them and do as they say. I don’t understand why instead of just destroying any synthetic races that revolt or controlling them, the Reapers decided to harvest all advanced life and turn them into living starships. Seems like kind of an overkill and stupid response.

It’s been a while since I’ve played Leviathan, but as I’m playing through the game now again, and about to start ME3, it was in my head. I know their motivations were ambiguous until ME3, but I always thought it was funny how Sovereign seemed to hate organics in ME1, calling them an accident. And then we learn they’re all partially organic to preserve organic life. It’s true that they also say in ME3 that the Reapers themselves are tools of the Catalyst. They may not even know their true purpose, maybe only the Catalyst does.

Kind of a ramble. Just interested in having a discussion about the Reapers and their intentions. These are just the kind of issues you have when human writers are trying to write something that is unknowable and then accidentally make it knowable and kind of dumb.

I find it so frustrating i cant change class on NG+. I want to give other classes a go but i cant bring myself to start with nothing again. I have to hunt the pickups in every area and i cant bring myself to ignore them.

Just beat 2 last night as a Vanguard. Good freaking lord you guys weren't kidding that Vanguard was going to be difficult. I struggled till about mid game then from then on every fight was just a slog.

I'll also never laugh at Husks again. I got soft locked at one point cause one of my saves was just before I got swarmed. I couldnt kill them fast enough and was bullied so bad.

Loaded up ME3, trying Vanguard again since I want to do something new.

Never sat down, and watch this whole Blasto ads before. This is actually funny, the whole thing was like 10 minutes long, and it's pretty coherent too.
