Built myself a daw and a sampler today. Any leads to getting more functionality out of it?

I’ve been trying to route audio into the Maschine 3 VST while using it in my DAW as a plugin but it’s pretty much impossible because they decided to ship it without the FX version of the plugin… does anyone know if I can use AI or something to create a an FX version of Maschine 3 VST like what came with Maschine 2?
I linked a Feature Request post I found discussing why they decided not to bother with it.

I'm on the verge of buying a Maschine MK3. Is it risky, considering it's a nearly 10-year-old machine? Is it future-proof?

Hi. I bought a used Mikro MK3 and got Maschine 2 software with it. I also got Massive X player. I could use Massive X in Maschine 2 software (for example, the massive x expansions like Trap Bells that were free). I updated to Maschine 3 and Massive X is now not to be found in the Plug-ins list there. I can see and preview these expansion sounds in my library but I can’t assign them to a pad. It says Massive x could not be loaded.
Is it a common problem? Is it impossible to use Massive x player (and its expansion sounds) in Maschine 3?

Does anyone know of a way to use Maschine internal plugins (eg Beat Delay, Metaverb) as track inserts in other DAWs - and this is important - without running a full instance of Maschine in that DAW?
I generally finish my Maschine sessions in Pro Tools and like to keep fx like delay and reverb as sends or on aux tracks (rather than bake them into the file exports from Maschine). This allows for more creative use of these fx.
But trying to recreate these fx in Pro Tools means adding an instance of Maschine software in the Pro Tools track or session, and my CPU just can’t handle that.
I’ve also tried using other plugins to “recreate” the Beat Delay sounds but they never quite match.

Back in my 'I should really get into using this thing again' phase and instantly hit a block on doing something simple.
As the title says -
1st hurdle - how can I just select those last 2 events?
(Hmm, seems like I've figured out a way I *can* do it, but please don't tell me the only way is in the events screen, press the pad that selects the top row of events, then scroll the 'start' until it only has the event at bar 7, then repeat it for the 2nd pad? Surely there's a 'select everything from 7:1:1 to 8:4:4' ?
2nd hurdle - Once I've selected those 2 events, I just want to nudge them down so they're playing chops on different pads in the same group, as in pic 2.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi, I want to play the TD-3 from the Maschine+.
The devices are connected via midi (midi out from Maschine into Kenton in and from Kenton thru TD-3).
If I click on play in Maschine the TD-3 starts to play, but it reproduces only the saved pattern inside of it.
If I select an empty pattern and I try to play with the keyboard in Maschine no sounds come from the Behringer.
The midi channel in TD-3 is channel 1, the same in Maschine.
The audio of each one is directed to a mixer in two different channels.
Any advice?

Hi everyone!
For weeks, I’ve been working on software to control Ableton using our Maschine 3 hardware. It has always been frustrating for me not to be able to work in Ableton directly from the Maschine hardware, as I’ve always used the Maschine 3 software for sketching ideas and finished the tracks in Ableton. With the help of AI (since I’m a software developer but not a MIDI specialist), I’ve designed software that allows you to control Ableton via the Maschine hardware while maintaining a workflow very similar to the native Maschine software.
I know there are existing scripts for controlling Ableton to some extent, but my development offers much more—most notably, the ability to see what’s happening directly on the hardware screens. I believe this will be a game-changer, as I know many others share this struggle of not being able to control Ableton effectively, and I hope to solve this problem in the best way possible.
Before the official launch, I need a few testers to provide feedback on the user experience, suggest any missing features, and test the software in environments different from my own (MBA M4 + Ableton Live 12). I’m looking for users experienced with Ableton Live 12 and—above all—Maschine 3, who have access to the following setups:
The software is available in both English and Spanish.
If you meet these requirements and would like to thoroughly test my new project, please send me a DM or leave a comment on this post so we can get in touch. Thanks a lot—I hope to launch it as soon as possible!

I decided to create this mapping because I couldn't find anything up to date for Studio One or Maschine. I'm still working on the project, and it will be 100% free for the community.
Currently working on integrating the knobs to control and mix directly in the console.
Here's what it supports so far:
- Pad Scale Modes: Major, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian, Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor, Blues, Major Pentatonic, Minor Pentatonic, Major Triad, and Minor Triad.
- Transport: Play, Record, Erase, Restart, Loop, Markers, and View Toggles (Piano / Drum view).
- Browser: Folder navigation, tab switching, and direct preset loading.
- Console & Editors: Quick access to Mixer, Audio Editor, and Virtual Instrument UI.
- Track Controls: Mute, Solo, Record Arm, Duplicate, and Insert Pattern.
- Pads: 16 assignable pads (C3 to D#4) for triggering instruments and drums.
I’ll be dropping a link for all of you very soon. I’m currently putting a lot of work into developing this project to build a solid, stable foundation. Stay tuned!

Hey eberyone . In maschine 2 I have never been able to route get good drum libraries to individual pads so I can for example use side chain compression on the kick drum and bass instrument .. does
Maschine 3 allow this ?

I got tired of reaching for the mouse just to switch between groups, sounds and samples, so I made a patch for the Mikro MK3. Here’s a quick demo.
What it does:
The stock screen and parameter controls are unchanged, and Shift + turn still scrolls quickly through browser results.
Tested on Windows with Maschine 3.7.1. The install script backs up the original EXE, and there’s a restore script too.
Code and instructions: https://github.com/ybelonozhkin/maschine-mikro-browser
Curious how this feels for people who’ve used the Mikro for years. I’m fairly new to it, so some of these changes came from things I expected it to do out of the box.

Hello guys! SO I'm firing up my NI Maschine hardware for the first time in 7 years, and I need to know how to proceed. Here's what I'm wanting to do.
Use NI Maschine as the base of my production. I want to run the plugin known as ChordPrism. That said, I am also getting a Microkorg and I want ChordPrism to trigger chords on the Microkorg. Yet I want that all being recorded as AUDIO into the Maschine. But obviously ChordPrism must function as MIDI I believe to get the Microkorg to work with it. I have no idea how to proceed, can you guys let me know what I need to do to get this all functioning properly? And can you break it down for dummies as well, nice and slow? Thanks guys!! :)

Here’s my first prototype of an all-in-one Maschine MK3 stand. Get ready for long post
Why did I make this?
I used to own an MPC Live 2, but I sold it earlier this year because I wanted to try something different. Mainly, I wanted better access to VSTs and the ability to control them directly from the hardware. That’s what led me to Maschine.
I was lucky enough to pick up my MK3 for around $150, and one of the first things I realized was that I’d have to carry my laptop around everywhere.
I’ve tried putting the laptop on my lap and setting the MK3 on top, which works fine, but I wanted something more uniform. Something I could sit on the couch with use in content and make beats like I used to with my MPC Live 2.
So I decided to design and 3D print my own all-in-one stand.
How does it work?
The MK3 sits on top while the laptop slides in through the rear and rests on a sturdy chassis underneath.
I changed a few settings on my laptop so it stays running with the lid closed. Since everything runs off the laptop, there’s no need for a separate battery. I can use it unplugged, and when the battery gets low, I just charge it.
I also added a cutout on the side for cables. I could’ve hidden all the wiring internally, but that would’ve made the stand much bigger, so I decided to keep the wires on the outside. The thing mounted on the back is just a USB hub.
I also designed it with an open chassis for airflow since heat was a concern with having the laptop tucked underneath.
What about controlling everything without opening the laptop?
The MK3 is actually a really capable controller. You can pretty much make an entire project from start to finish without touching your laptop.
There are a few limitations, though, like browsing presets from third-party plugins that don’t support NKS, typing custom names when saving new projects, and accessing older projects that don’t appear in your recent files.
Luckily, I’ve found a few workarounds. There are community-made add-ons that allow you to browse some third-party plugin presets directly from the controller.
For everything else, I use Chrome Remote Desktop on my phone. If I need to browse presets from plugins that don’t have the feature, name a file, or pull up older projects, I can just do it from there.
Something else I’m looking into is switching to MIDI mode and mapping buttons to control the laptop so I can name files directly from the controller. Maybe even see it on the MK3’s screens. Not sure if it’ll work yet, but just an idea.
What’s next?
This is only V1, so it’s still a prototype. Because of the size, I had to print it in four separate pieces and connect everything with epoxy.
I’m already working on V2, which should be a lot cleaner. Eventually, I want the entire thing to have no visible seams.
If enough people are interested, I might invest in a bigger printer so I can print the entire thing as one piece with no seams.
But even without that, I can still make it look seamless by joining the pieces, filling the seams, sanding everything down, and painting it whatever color.
Anyway, just wanted to share what I’ve been working on. Let me know what you guys think. Would anyone be interested in something like this?

Recently picked up the S49 MK2 Keyboard for $250 to go along with my Maschine MK3 and after seeing the prices of a lot of the stands, I decided to 3-D print my own for this design I created a simple stand that uses the weight of the keyboard to hold the stand down, so it doesn’t tilt backwards from the weight of the MK3. The stand slides perfectly under the S49 and the weight of it holds the stand in place. In order to allow the stand to slide underneath the s49 i installed thicker rubber feet underneath the S49 to make it sit up a little higher. On the stand i designed recesses on the bottom for rubber feet to be installed to keep it from sliding back-and-forth. If anyone wants to get it printed by me or if you have a 3d printer and want to print it yourself message me, and we can work a price out.
Maybe this will inspire someone to design their own. I have some other designs that I’ll be posting soon where I turned the MK3 into a single box unit where the MK3 and laptop are carried as one unit laptop hidden below and mk3 on top making it feel very similar to standalone drum machine.

As they said, contact and after work fine inside ableton. They just don't work here, I've been getting this error for months. Reinstalled the software and still the same thing. I'm running everything on an M4 Mac mini so it's definitely not the computer.

Hey everyone,
I love using my Maschine MK3 as the core of my beatmaking workflow, but ever since upgrading to Maschine 3, stability and visual bugs have been making it super frustrating to work with.
I wanted to check in with the community to see if these are known bugs, if anyone has workarounds, or if you're experiencing similar issues on the latest release:
Third-Party Plugin Windows / Presets Not Opening:
UAD Plugins: Certain preset windows won't render or pop up at all, making it impossible to switch or view presets directly.
IK Multimedia MixBox: The plugin UI won't open properly, so I can't access or swap out modules.
Visual & UI Glitches Since the Latest Update:
Controller Hardware Bugs: Pads and buttons are randomly flashing/blinking on the MK3 hardware even when they aren't active or assigned to an playing pattern.
Software Interface Flickering: Random visual artifacts and UI lag occurring both within third-party plugin wrappers and the main Maschine 3 screen.
My Setup Details:
Hardware: Maschine MK3
Software Version: Maschine 3 (Latest Update 3.7.1)
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.6.2
Plugin Formats Used: VST3 / AU / VST2
Is anyone else hitting these same UI wrapper/rendering issues or controller flickering with the new software? If you found a fix, please drop it below!
Hoping NI gets a patch out for this soon.

Hi All, I am having a bit of an issue with Ableton Link between the MK3 and Rekordbox. I can get Link set up and the devices connected, but I can only seem to control the tempo one-way (ie, Maschine to RB). I'd prefer if RB were set up so the master track tempo I have selected on the decks controls the Maschine tempo. Is there any workaround for this or am I basically stuck relying on the Maschine?
Second issue, with Ableton Link enabled, it doesn't seem to too accurately sync up loops with the track that is playing. There's always the delay while the Link tempo bar fills and somehow it is always off by a bit. Any tips for that?
OS is PC Windows 10. Audio is through a Focusrite 2i2.
Thank you!
