They are doing another pop event isn’t this like the 8th one we had? First it was those summer skins and in total that was 6. the 2 pajama ones bring us to 8. The dino one brings us to 9. The 2 celestial ones is now 11. Now this new one brings us to 14 gatcha events. At this point it’s just scummy

People genuinely defend this practise. You think netease does this out of the kindness of their hearts lol?
Sunk cost fallacy and them being balloons means more people will try to get them overall. Some people try for balloons even if they wouldn’t have bought them via the shop, that’s how they’re meant to get you
“Oh but you can get them cheaper”, yeah, a very small % of players. What they lose in people getting it cheaper they make back up in more ppl buying them

Not to mention the fomo extensions they always do
Oh and also emojis are a forced purchase too

Yeah its really 50 50 split on the community liking these are not. Some posts about these will have all comments defending it. And it only makes them more money so they will continue to do it

It’s not 50 / 50 in actuality. Netease isn’t stupid, they have the sales data on all of these things and obviously there has been a lot of success in these events. In real life people vote with their wallets and not reddit internet likes

yea this sub and the internet in general has a huge negativity bias and echo chamber effect
