Discussion This is just Greed at this point

They are doing another pop event isn’t this like the 8th one we had? First it was those summer skins and in total that was 6. the 2 pajama ones bring us to 8. The dino one brings us to 9. The 2 celestial ones is now 11. Now this new one brings us to 14 gatcha events. At this point it’s just scummy

I don’t feel bad for anyone who has an issue with these. If you want the skin: slight chance to get it cheaper. If you don’t want it full price and only buy some balloons hoping to get it and then are mad you don’t, that’s your own issue, learn some self control, don’t gamble and then complain you chose to gamble. I enjoy being able to buy one balloon from each at the slight chance of getting the skin, but if not still getting some emote or spray or nameplate or something. There is nothing “greedy” about this. You can claim slight scummyness from putting gambling in the game, but the decision to buy the balloons is up to the individual player so just learn some self control.

Nice try netease employee. I want the skin, not useless emojis that I'm forced to pay extra for compared to a shop skin. The "slight chance" is so miniscule that it might as well not be there. I've gotten 4 balloon skins and literally all of them only gave me the skin on the last balloon.

I want all 3 and now I have a chance to get them for $1, $3, $7, and $15 instead of full price and then the other 2 will be discounted down at 50% off, saving me $24.

But god forbid you apply logic to why this type of event is beneficial to players when you can just endlessly whine about “predatory monetization.”
