Discussion This is just Greed at this point

Post image

They are doing another pop event isn’t this like the 8th one we had? First it was those summer skins and in total that was 6. the 2 pajama ones bring us to 8. The dino one brings us to 9. The 2 celestial ones is now 11. Now this new one brings us to 14 gatcha events. At this point it’s just scummy

of course, they aren't a charity

why are people still surprised about companies wanting to make money

There’s a difference between selling skins normally and using predatory tactics on your players tbf

Is a hole predatory if a person falls in?

If the hole was dug for the sole purpose of enticing people to jump in, yes absolutely.

Yes if the hole was dug by another human with the intention to have someone fall into it.

I’m so tired of people using shitty logic like this. It gets so old

The chances are clearly given to you in game unlike many games that send you to websites. Calling it predatory is just signs of low iq.

And some people have low iq. Many things in society exist to protect those people

So I can’t have a potential discount on a skin I wanted to buy anyway because other people are vulnerable for being too dumb?

If that’s the only way you choose to look at it I pity you

Like how theyre allowed to go to casino and spend all their money there?

If you're going to play the hero by "protecting" low iq people , start by closing all casinos who take thousands of people's money and driving them to suicide , instead of commenting on r/marvelrivals because they made some people spend 24$ instead of 22$.

I mean I don't fully agree with everything said, but they are right at the end of the day, even if you don't get the pop until the last balloon you still are spending 24$ with a chance to get it for less, as opposed to 22$ straight up, with no emojis (if you didn't want them), so it really isn't a typical "got ya" mechanic

It does take advantage of people will little self control but...do companies really care about that? I'm gonna take a guess and say no lol

HAHAAHAH your dumbass couldnt disprove my argument with facts so you jsut said "why would i wate my time" , just say youre dumb as shit and you cant disprove me using arguments😂😂😂✌️✌️✌️

"me cant disprove him using arugments let me type why would i waste my time to seem like i can"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

They aren't clearly given to you when you see 6 balloons you assume it's a 1 in 6 chance

Do you know what the word clearly means? Yes you can find it out but let's not act like there's no attempt to trick you. ESPECIALLY kids

Is it the shepherd fault that the sheep strays out the field?

Human brain is vulnerable to gambling just like it is vulnerable to every other addicting thing, this isn't a high concept to understand. I am beggining to think people don't know what addiction is since a lot of them are victim blaming. Blaming the people who are by nature vulnerable to the thing instead of the system distributing the addictive thing is so fucking stupid.

It is also researched that children and teens are even more vulnerable to gambling btw. But its their fault right? They shouldn't play a video game designed for kids? What a fucking joke.
