Hey, i need someone who can identify what this yellow-orange sprinkled things in the bark are. I bought a tree disc to work on it and this goes all round the bark. My question is If its Just Natural or If this is a fungal and can damage the actually Wood in the Long Run.
I wanted to work on it and hang in on the wall so i dont know if this will rot in any way or/and attract insects or stuff like that.

Seems to be around ~60 feet? Was still quite huge when grandparents moved in back in 2012. Any way to calculate it with that and width of trunk?

Hello everyone. Im looking for some help on the best and most affordable way to buy native trees and shrubs. I manage 80 acres and want to purchase several different species for habitat restoration. This is all out of my own pocket so im looking for the best ways to go about it. Located in Michigan. Thanks a million.

Transplanting suckering black tupelo in garden.

I work at a gardening company and today a client was getting a huge old, half dead azalea removed and inside it was this black tupelo. I had decided I would take it before it came out with the azalea, but only after I got the azalea off of it did I see it has been cut at the base in the past.

How viable would this tree be into the future? I know it will never be a single stem proper tree again, but if it can survive with flowers and fruit as a multi stemmed branching shrub, I am ok with that as well. Any thoughts on this?
