Picked up a new pocket knife last week, decided to get some laser engraving done to satisfy Charter :)

We had just hit a blue key room on perimeter. The pressure was on. Glad to have good teammates! I’m so thankful for this guy!

I love this game but I can admit that I am not the best at pvp this one felt like a nice win. I would love to say it was me but I know it was fully the KKV. That thing is insane. I'm in love with it now.

You can now get 5k kits ready to gamble in cryo in a single run in either of these maps.

If you want to slowly build up a strong vault you can continuously run them for golds and purple.

There was never a map worth playing outside of cryo up until now (apart from ranked). Really feels good actually looting and not relying on killing someone and hoping they got good stuff, although that is a bonus.

It’s way easier to save and build credits also which is helpful when buying things from faction vendors. It makes losing less painful as I’m not worried about having no creds to buy meds, attachments or a green kit.

Random map events are now worth doing.

The changes so far for me have been great so far.

The Major is here on Tau Ceti IV, always has been.

These people weren’t the best players I’ve ever met, quite bad actually…lol. I met them on Outpost on free kits, we wiped the lobby, got them kitted up, I end up sticking around, next game I notice one of them brought another free kit in despite having a great loadout by the end of the last run. Whatever, gear fear maybe.

Anyways, we end up doing like 4-5 successful Outpost runs where I played out of my mind with 1v3s. My luck eventually runs out on the hard carry , so I suggest we switch to Narsh. They tell me they hardly ever run Outpost and have yet to complete Upper Complex. So, I tell myself I’m gonna get it done for them, we lose a couple kitted runs to unfortunate circumstances.

First run, we only had less than a minute to loot, so I decide we need to bail, and for some reason the vent exit door wasn’t open and we die to time. Never seen that happen, still no clue what happened there. Second run there’s 3 teams converging on the elevator at the same time…they go down early, I down 6 runners, but the chaos of not knowing what team was what gets me in the end, lol. Last run, I suggested sponsored kits to alleviate the losses we’d been experiencing. Of course we get the key with 15 minutes+, but shit all for heals and ammo. Through much attrition and close calls, I finish the boss off with 1:50 left, loot was ass, but these people were so appreciative that we did it that it made it worth it.

I’ll take nights like tonight over constant lobby wipes any day of the week. They were courteous with their looting too, plenty of golds on Outpost that weren’t snatched immediately, refreshing really with randoms. Hats off to you gents or ladies. 🫡

I would argue that Nothing and Polestar have a similar style to Marathon with their use of text on the products as Marathon brands do and a unique Graphic Realism style.

SCRT's MOSF line of clothes also have that style but their other stuff doesn't.

Is there other brands that use that similar style?

Personally I just can't play the pve mode anymore for Arc raiders. I was expecting everybody to just vibe with instruments and doing the map objectives together but the majority of people just act like vultures not really looking to communicate or cooperate and only want to steal each others loot. I don't think I've seen anyone even defib a player they just walk past you if your crawling on the floor lol. Also on the extraction side you now have a already terrible economy even more crippled with no wipe mechanic. I like the idea of pve but after experiencing this I'm starting to see it can ruin the game if not done right.

Arachne levels up way too slowly compared to the other factions. It could be for a variety of reasons such as : lack of priority contracts for it , the fact the majority of Arachne points you get are from finishers and finishers are just a bad decision to do because of animation lock in, etc. For comparison sake I play this game a lot and have all my factions above level 20, but my Arachne is only level 9 by comparison. I don’t shy away from PvP, so that isn’t the reason why. I think they need to ramp up its xp in some way

I was ready to neg myself, I was ready for them to be like "eww Marathon" cuz that's all I see online, but no one had even heard of it, and actually they got excited when I mentioned it.

Meaningless story but the point is, talk about the things you like with people!

Since the last figure and now I got another 3D printer. This one was an FDM printer which meant I could redo the Rook figure with its appropriate material. I even got a spool of translucent filament which is what I used for the main body parts.
This guy was way easier to assemble and had full range of motion without every joint having sticky tack in it lmao.
