As an mma, I know how important it is to get out there and show the world your work and whatever skill, character, talent you have. Make connections, network and create memories, all while prioritizing studies.
But in the end, I only want to... just live? I always thought everyone is ahead of me, and that I, a selective introvert, have no chance of becoming 'that' student. It's a stereotype.
I'm not fortunate. I just have a normal separated family that often has food insecurity. I'm not a rich kid just because I get to study here by my tita's help.
I just chose this course because I thought it fits someone like me who likes to create, write and make art.
I can't stand making fake connections out of desperateness because it's just not who I am. I've been born sheltered and just finding people, classmates who I deemed "like me" despite having better circumstances gives me hope that "normal" doesn't exist.
I stopped comparing myself, even if my brain forces me to.
Yes I do admit, I have a hard time with research and complex tasks because the education I had back then wasn't quality.
Right now, I am just surviving. I admit the guilt that sprout inside me back then when I failed a class I should've been studying along time ago.
I'm not that special and I just want to create things for the love of it.
I used to cry about grades back then, for being below average, blaming myself.
Now, I just hang in on a thread, thinking if everything is worth it.
Some students want to aim high, while I try to survive everyday and the uncertainty of a tomorrow I swore wont ever exist when I was 16. I'm 20 now. I lived. I freaking lived.

I might sound stupid to say this, I should’ve studied more even though andami kong major subjects na na need kong iprioritize (lalo na in this quarterm setup) and I had to deal with org duties as well (that’s really inexcusable, I take full credit for that). Does sir Itable curve? If yes, mga ilang percent lng tinatanggap nya?

Hello! Hopefully everyone is doing well and taking care of themselves after this term. I just wanted to share my experience for my first ever quarterm experience, cause tbh everything bad that could have happened, happened to me. First both my desktop and my laptop broke at the exact time hell week was about to start, so there were so many deadlines, projects and activities i had to do and most of them required a pc to complete, so i ended up renting and borrowing laptops until the end of the term since both repairs for my laptop and desktop were too expensive. It was extremely hard and tiring because i was almost always never home because of night classes and the endless borrowing and renting of laptops along with studying for major subjects and doing deadlines, and when i did get home i had to do more activities, chores, etc. But after all those hardships and challenges, i can confidently say that I passed my subjects, some by just 1 point above failing (70-75) and some with a fairly good grade (90+). I know some are probably going through tougher hardships but even though it may seem helpless, you just have to push through since youre the only factor you can actually control. But tbh I can only take so much of this before my brain goes completely crazy.
TO THE ALUMNI, IS MAPUA REALLY THIS WORTH IT? 😭😭😭

I'm a student under Miss Gloren and sabi niya saakin na hanapin ko daw siya so I can take the final exam I missed. I'm not under IT so di ako familiar sa faculty nila. I just need to take this to pass my first term huhuu

Anyone na also Silva ang prof for OJT 1? Mag-Continuing kasi sana ako, so I've answered the Google Forms in advance pero nagannounce siya na need daw magsend ng Accomplishment Report para talagang maqualify for it (sobrang aksdnalwdna). So nagemail ako para magtanong kung saan isesend pero wala akong nakuhang reply. Ngayon, I don't know what to do, kasi even though nagsend naman ako for August and September Monthly Reports dun sa One Drive niya, emailed my complete requirements sa kanila, and even answered the GForms, mamaya baka para sa wala lang din 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Finishing OJT hours na lang talaga ko

As per the head i talked to, we base on the handbook thats assigned to our batch year level, (e.g. batch 23 = handbook for 2023-2024). So bali yung detail about pag "out", nakabase sa batch niyo.
The copy can be requested daw from the registrar, not sure exactly what window (or baka sa customer service)
