This genuinely so funny. It's even better with this clear image. He really just drew a normally proportioned girl (as far as anime goes, at least) and then just tripled the length of her legs. This is like the leg fetish equivalent of those anime girls with tits bigger than their torso.

I feel like the same argument can be made about classic series like sailor moon, which is made by a woman.
XXXHolic has even more exaggerations in proportions, and it's made by a team of women, if I recall correctly.
Edit: Let's not even think about Yaoi and Omegaverse proportions, which are a woman dominated genre.
I don't know when people who start slinging around schoolyard insults about lack of experience with women started entering the manga community to bully authors...
But manga is made by adults, who are a lot more complicated than high school would tell you.

I think the wild proportions is fine for w/e style you are doing. The main thing for me is what we see so often nowadays is the whole "boob facing art" which is just looks stupid. The characters that are facing <- sideways somehow, their right boob just magically grows and you can see both somehow. You see it a ton in arts where to put both in the "view" whichever boob isn't aligned with the other is dragged out and it just looks dumb.
Actually the entire art looks really weird?
Just look at the guys shoes. The guy in front is.. floating on top of the other guy? And the very far back guy his other leg is.. in between 4th guys legs. ???

I would disagree that XXXHolic has more exaggerated proportions. They're long and slender, but these girls have legs that are 3 times longer than their torso and tits that are individually both bigger than their head.

is a messed up thing to say because it applies to many female authored works, and works inspired by those female authors.
Even the (Comparing it to sailor moon is bad) response doesn't JUST say it's an insult to sailor moon to point out the similarities, it also pushes a weird "The only reason we're not insulting sailor moon is because it's above reproach, not because it doesn't apply. If we could, we absolutely would shit on sailor moon" vibe, that could possibly end up doing more damage
