Advice Omhu sofa sagging after one month?

So… I copped the Teddy Omhu “dupe”. It was a legit purchase from Omhu not a replica or anything. Close to one month of ownership and I am starting to see a little sagging. Is this expected? Anyone with a real one noticed the same? Kinda crazy regarding the price of the couch (even though this model was € 699, they still say its the same quality as the 1.7k+ ones).

Btw dont mind the ugly wall, will be repainted soon just moved in.

Discussion How well do cooling sheets hold up after a year of weekly washes?

The cool-to-the-touch feeling on night one is an easy selling point, but I’m more curious about what happens once you actually own them for a while. A lot of 2026 sheet sets are talked about like temperature is all that matters, but that first impression doesn’t mean much if the fitted sheet loosens up, the surface pills, or the seams get rough after repeated washes. I’m obviously not expecting bedding to last 30 years, but I’d like something that stays usable instead of needing to be replaced every year. What I’m really looking at is wash stability: the fit stays the same, there’s no major pilling, and the fabric doesn’t noticeably change against the skin. If you’ve washed cooling-focused sheets weekly for at least a year, what gave out first: the fitted-sheet elastic, the seams, the surface, or the sizing?

Advice F1 memorabilia exposition

Hello there! A while ago I bought a F1 car component (it's a Minardi rearwing endplate if you are curious) and since then I've been looking for a way to expose it in my living room.

I was thinking of hanging it on the wall but, since I don't want to screw it directly on the concrete, it would be nice to have something like a board on the back so I can hang the board and have the endplate screwed to it.

The point is that I don't know what color I should use for the board (grey? wood?..) or even if it's a good idea.

If you have any suggestions (even different ideas) I would love to hear you in the comments.

Cheers! :)

Advice What to do to make my fireplace cover look better?

I’m looking for ideas to improve the appearance of the white rectangular panel on my fireplace without spending much money. I’m loosely considering tiling over it unless anyone has a better idea.

Thanks!

Discussion Upgraded my sleep setup how do I keep the rest of the room functional?

I finally decided to put some money into making my bedroom comfortable instead of living like a broke college student, and honestly, the biggest win was upgrading the bed. I used to wake up burning hot at 3am every single day, but I realized I needed bedding that stayed cooler through the whole night. some modern cooling gear and decent sheets made the bed way more comfortable. Now that the sleep-quality part is sorted out, i’m trying to figure out how to arrange the rest of the space without ruining the clean look. Do you guys prioritize furniture layouts that help with airflow, or just put things wherever they look best? I’m torn.

Not a magick house... a magick home.

Finally moved back into an apartment of my own again (37yo) and really wanted my place to feel like a creative sanctuary away from the outside world... someplace I could both relax in and feel inspired by.

It won't be everyone's thing, but it couldn't feel more like home to me!

EDIT: Because a lot of people have been asking!

  • I have done psychedelics in the past and used to smoke a lot, but these days I am overwhelmingly sober about 95% of the time. I'll enjoy some wine or shisha socially, and consume an absurd amount of caffeine, but anything else is a rare treat saved for vacations, trips and special moments, maybe a handful of times a year if that.
  • I got these items from all sorts of places - Amazon, Goodwill, Farmer's Markets, Temu, Flea Markets, Home Goods, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Friends, some stuff is homemade. I have zero shame about any of it. If I like it, I like it!
  • My orange cat is named Kako (short for Kakarot) and he just the most cuddly guy ever. I have a little girl black cat (you can barely see her on the couch) named Pan. She's also super adorable, but a bit of a spoiled princess haha.
  • I don't have dreads. I'm actually bald, fairly muscular and keep a relatively trim beard. I've got a few piercings. I commented with my picture but it may have gotten swallowed in traffic, haha.
  • I really like high fantasy, esotericism, astrology, polarity, world religions, psychology, astrology, tarot, music, dark romance and psychedelic vibes. I'm a musician, enjoy hitting the gym, going to music festivals and am a D&D nerd and theater kid.
  • The lights are RGB and cool to the touch. They can be adjusted to be "normal", but I really like the way the soft colors blend together, which I find super relaxing. I don't leave the candles going constantly, and don't leave them unattended.
  • The toilet has a neat little RGB light in it. You can find them lots of places for not much money.
  • I don't do hexes, curses, blessings or palm reading. My magickal affinity mostly lies in chaos magick, astrology and tarot - which I regard as psychological tools best used for self reflection and the reinforcement of will, first and foremost.
  • I am single (and also cismale and heterosexual - which I understand may be a question), and I would absolutely love to meet a woman who is likeminded, chill and creative. I would love to date a musician. But with that said, I am also very down to make new likeminded and chill platonic friends!

Lastly I want to say this post REALLY blew up! Which I find so surprising. Definitely a first for me, with a lot of mixed reactions (which I expected) but I'm really happy with just how many of you were into it, enthusiastic and supportive - the majority of you, really. The rest either being able to appreciate it despite differences, or a couple, haters - but the haters were also funny.

I don't take myself or life too seriously, and neither should you! Life is short. All these skulls and skeletons make sure I don't forget that.

So remember to be have fun, laugh, do some things that make you smile with people you love and try to laugh at the rest!

Just moved last month and I need some opinions/advice on how to decor the rest of the living room

Last month I left my parents house and finally have a place I can call my won home. So far this is what I got. It is still missing some things (a coffee table in front of the sofa, some a wall decor). But my main issue is what else can I do to make more cousy.

My main issue at the moment are:
-I don't how the tv console is (too close to wall but i can't take off, otherwise I don't know where to put the vinyls)
- There is a gap between the wall and the sofa (I can't have the sofa glue to the wall, otherwise I can't see the TV)

I know that wall decor can do wonders, but what furniture do you suggest getting or feedback on how to improve my living room.

Advice Any tips to make this space look more tidy and professional without major renovations?

Since this is a rental, I’d prefer reversible changes like textured adhesive wallpaper instead of painting, or adding a chandelier instead of replacing the existing light fixture.

I live and work alone, so I prefer using this room as my main living space because it has more room and connects to an open area next door. However, I’m struggling to figure out how to make the place look more polished, especially since I plan to stay here for a while.

The last photo shows my POV during work meetings, which is probably the area that needs the most attention.

What would you change first?

The place is not without issues, but I managed to fix a large bulk of them. Chief pf the issues is probably no personal WLAN, which I believe is a simple fix.
