Sometimes I wish there was a Mainecoon family tree so I could see who is related to my kitten when I look at your pictures. Anyone else feel this way? Marge the cat just turned a year old

Hi everyone, my precious little Sun Sun is hardly eating any of his wet food. I’m rotating a lot of brands to see if he’s gone off some and to no avail! I have even bought some Sheba and Purina Gourmet food (which I never thought I would) to see if he would eat those and he licks the gravy/jelly off and calls it a day!
My main question is should I be worrying as much as I am? He is almost 9 months old, still eating his dry food, is peeing normally and pooping every day as well. His most recent vet visit on the 1st of this month he was 6.2kg, which seems on track I’d say. He is still his usual self causing havoc, running around chirping and playing as he normally would.
I’d say it’s been about a week and I would estimate that he’s fully ate about 4 tins of food, despite being offered it 3x daily he just turns his nose up.
Any advice/explanation would be greatly appreciated to stop me worrying my head off! Have any of you guys gone through this with your little terrors?
Lots of pics for cat tax (including my huge new canvas of him… not sure if i’m crazy or just a devoted cat mam lol)

Anyone have any experience with Racheal Maine Coon kittens for Adoption in Minneapolis, MN? That is the name of their facebook page. She has a phone number and address listed on the page. Searching the phone number brings up a tiktok page. She has pictures of gorgeous kittens.

It sweet boy Charlie; caught him standing like this with his beautiful tail hanging down. He looks so regal here, but he’s actually a big ham (aren’t they all haha)!

We finally were able to bring home our new boys this week, and just wanted to share them with everyone. It’s great to be back in the sub!
Please meet Igorek (Iggy) and Sigurd (Siggy). They’re both about 6 months old. I’d forgotten how crazy the kitten stage is but this morning they’ve discovered the bird feeder and are settling in great 😊

Anyone else experience their less than one year old nearly hitting 20 pounds? I weighed this big boi this morning and his official weight was 19.2 pounds and he’s only 8 months old.
Anyone else have babies get that big, this young?

With two maine coons & hair almost to my waist, brush rolls don’t last long in this house… every robot we’ve owned had a hair bun on it within a week (Sunday = 15 minutes with a seam ripper!!).
Ours now is eufy e35, two weeks old & clean so far… but the last one looked fine for its first month too.
Hoping the tangle free part still holds at six months so the seam ripper can stay in the sewing kit. Fingers crossed.

We have decided to welcome a second MC into our family.
The breeder has 3 darlings to choose from. They are black silver tabby.
Which one do you think will have the most defined coat?
They are only a 1 and a half weeks old and all adorable.
I will chat with the breeder again when they turn 4 weeks in coming closer to making a decision.

Hi everybody
I have a female (unspayed) Maine coon that’s a little over 1 years old and not gaining weight. I took her home last year at 3 pounds, and she currently weighs a little under 8 pounds. We just had her recent vet visit and noticed that she’s lost 2 ounces in 3 months.
How can I help her gain weight? I’m looking for food recommendations or advice as her vet says she’s lean.
For reference - she’s getting spayed tomorrow!! , she has blue buffalo kitten kibble available 24/7, gets fed 1/4 can Costco wet food 2x a day, and I also sprinkle freeze dried kibble and minnows on top of her food/ give throughout the day as treats.
She rarely finishes a whole meal in one sitting, just sort of grazes and comes back to it.
How can I help her gain weight?

Just got home after leaving her alone for unforgivables 1 and a half hour. That's her greeting me. I find it so cute that she bites and licks my hand, but without leaving even a scratch every time she gets excited. Anyone else with a gentle bitey kitten?
