October 2026 Microscale Build Challenge | “Horror” 🩸 | 6+6+6 Pieces Max

My favorite part of the year is here - OCTOBER! The spooky season is BACK! We thought it would be great to join forces with r/Minilego for a cool build challenge for Halloween. Microscale, for those who don't know, is building Lego in a smaller than minifig-size, using as few pieces as possible.
The theme for the Halloween month is:
“Horror”
Rules:
- You can only use 6+6+6 pieces or fewer (this is just a spooky gimmick of course, it means 18 pieces max)
- The builds can be made in Studio, but bonus points (totally imaginary) if built irl
- You can post as many as 3 entries
- You have to include a picture of all the pieces you used, as a confirmation that you didn't exceed the maximum number of pieces
You have until Wednesday, October 21st to post your entries with the “Build Challenge Entry” Post Flair. You can either post your creation here or on r/Minilego.
It will be you who will choose the winner at the end of the month.
The winner will get a unique user flair they will be able to show off on r/Minilego & r/legohorror, and their creation will be spotlighted on our Instagram.
I really hope this theme is interesting enough for most of you, so... please don't make me spooked with a small number of entries this time -> make me spooked with your creations! (in a good way)

Sky turned violet at 0200. Classic drift sign—tear in the veil is widening fast.
Patricia’s got the Stuart dug in along the line while Sam’s on the ground keeping eyes on the tracks. Whatever just stepped out of that tear isn’t standard WWII armor, and it sure as hell isn't human.
Colt and Winchester experimental gear locked and loaded. Holding the breach until backline arrives.
Custom M5 Stuart kitbash & lighting setup. Built, staged, and photographed on the track bed.
