MOC I made a little guy... It was suggested to post him here...
My kid said the headphones looked like glasses and I was inspired.

The votes are in!
Congratulations to u/conspiracyhand for September's MOC of the Month with their Blacktron II Strike Ship & Monorail! They've earned themselves the r/LegoSpace MOC of the Month user flair.
The combination of the classic Blacktron II aesthetic, strike ship, and monorail made for an impressive display and clearly caught the community's attention.
A big thank you to everyone who entered, voted, commented, and shared their creations this month. We had another great selection of builds, and it's always great to see the creativity coming from the LEGO Space community.
Be sure to check out the winning build and give u/conspiracyhand some love, and we'll see you all for October's MOC of the Month!

None of these models are mine, but you can definitely tell that there are significantly fewer models with a space theme in the race this time.

Aquazone moc with a couple of set builds: the Shark Scout (6115) and, of course, the Sea Sprint 9 (6125).

All I can think of is the first Minions movie when the moon is mentioned l. We had it on DVD growing up so that thing had a lot of hours put into it.

The Cygnus Enhanced (now the Cygnus XL) is a Thales Alenia and Northrup Grumman operated ISS resupply craft I love and have personal connection to. After carrying cargo it's deorbited and purposefully burned up on reentry after being used as an ISS trash can. I've had one as a model on my car dash for years and it's suffered the typical Lego in the sun experience. Rather then trash it I figured I'd make a fun MOC of it reentering and burning up. The burning up picture was done 100% practical with a light source. It's pictured next to the new version that'll be the next one on the dashboard. The Cygnus model is a modified design from u/kehu05 (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36345/kehu05/182-cygnus-spacecraft/#details).

I wanted to explore an alternative to a powered train by designing a booster rail for coaster tracks. I don't think I've seen anyone try this approach before. What do you think?

For technically only two official sets, they've gotten more mileage than you'd think, specifically with the Renegade. Both the main and alt builds made great use of their parts. The GWP would've been a good introduction to this sub-theme if it was a regular retail set. Regardless, I'm grateful for a newer, easier to find Blacktron torso.

I've been working on a new city build in Studio, and I needed a VTOL or hovercraft for a landing pad. So I thought of the Alpha Team Cruiser set 6772, an old favorite, and decided to make some modifications. I took the engines, turned them on their sides, doubled them up, and then ended up completely replacing them anyway...
I was initially just planning on this being a hovercraft, but as it developed it just happened to work out so that the engines can be flipped horizontally to make it more of a cruiser. Sure the intakes are facing each other and it doesn't make that much sense, but whatever. It looks cool.
I also tried to replace the radar dish with a cannon, a railgun, and a few other ideas, but nothing really fit, so I just left that as-is.
I was going to name it the Blacktron Cruiser, but obviously that name is already taken... So for now it's just Blacktron Hovercraft Alpha.
Backgrounds were downloaded from https://www.1980somethingspace.com/# and added through GIMP.

Today Iād like to show you my Futuron Sub-Gate made of real bricks. (Iāve already shown it digitally here: Futuron-Subgate : r/LegoSpace) A squad of red Futuron astronauts is setting out on a mission through the teleporter. Letās hope the Futuron astronautsā red uniforms arenāt a bad omen, like the āredshirtsā in Star Trek.
Please also take a look at u/Dependent_Nebula388 's Warpgate.

A few months back I found a handful of classic space instrucrions in a free bin at a yard sale.
Been wanting to do this for a but but finally grabbed some frames.
I need 2 bigger frames for the alpha rocket base and galaxy explorer but these are the first things ive hug on the wall in my lego / game room!
Kinda fun š

But he sure is weird...
@aegis_station on IG dropped these Halloween space boys and I had to have one. I'm usually strictly CB/Ktown for customs but this was too cool.

Does anyone know about the possible reason why in set 6977 the box art depiction of the droids have them with the older M-tron style heads?

I love the NASA sets they have been releasing and almost have all of them in my collection. We usually get one or two new ones every year. Do you think we will get anything in 2027 and what would they be? Personally Iād love to see a Apollo lunar command module similar scale to the LEGO creator lunar lander set (10266)

This started as maybe four or five different colors? The I started making tweaks as I got more of the newer space sets, and I love the suits, soā¦. I guess this particular starfleet just has a lot of divisions?
