I loved the gradient roofing stuff I saw in the last round of BDP so I dusted off this old build and started refreshing it. Might take it to Ideas when its done, what do you think? The Medieval Guarded Grocer was originally inspired by the Guarded Inn and Green Grocer and designed to work with the Medieval Blacksmith. I designed it like ~3 years ago.

This is a cult that I created for my own fantasy world. They believe in the holy snowman (as I thought the white looks beautiful!) I tried making the building from sun damaged white parts, but sadly I didn’t have enough to make it fully coloured. What do you guys think?

For a long time I wanted to achieve war hammer head that had square cross-section and had symmetrical both ends - something that can not be achieved with just a snot bricks. And here is my solution, to me it's groundbreaking, but I am quite sure somebody had already done it before me. Enjoy!

Back in July, I shared my original Hunter’s Cottage MOC, which received a lot of positive feedback. The original design was built in a dollhouse style, with an open back to make the interior accessible.
While many people liked that approach, others felt that a medieval cottage should be a fully enclosed building. So I decided to take on the challenge of creating an alternative version!
Meet Hunter’s Cottage – Modular Version!
You can find the instructions on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-280391/BricktobeWild/hunters-cottage-modular-edition/
The new version has a fully enclosed exterior, with floors connected by stairs. Closing the back also gave me the opportunity to expand the interior and add lots of new details.
Some of the additions include a wild boar trophy inside, inspired by a tutorial from bricks_fan_uy on Instagram, and a tanning rack on the exterior wall based on a design by marinbrickdesign.
The original Hunter’s Cottage was itself inspired by a cottage built by legoznbricks on Instagram, which gave me the initial spark for my own design. I always enjoy seeing how inspiration from other builders can develop into something of my own.
I’m really happy with how this version turned out. It was an interesting challenge to revisit an existing MOC, take the feedback on board, and see how much I could develop the original concept.
I’ve included renders from several angles, including a view showing how the roof can be removed to access the interior. Last two images shows the original dollhouse design.
Building instructions are available on Rebrickable — you can find them by searching for Hunter’s Cottage – Modular Version.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Which approach do you prefer for medieval buildings: the open-back dollhouse style or a fully enclosed modular building?

Nearly every exterior brick was touched as I did a face lift on the castle I built nearly 5 years ago. My primarily goal was to make it seem bigger and more elegant.

Finally was able to link up my walls and port MOCs from the last few months of building my Kraken Faction castle.
Pyke place market, kraken gates, guard towers, skull tomb, coming together with some bridges and islands and docks.
Will add more details and fun stuff around the edge of the water eventually but need to find some inspiration for small builds and wharf areas to get those going in the coming months.
Working to get a hilly foundation built out to the right for my main castle but my modified LKC and cathedral are there for now.

Recently came into these minifigs that are all complete (minus human king’s crown). They are in perfect condition, trying to get an understanding of what they are worth, or if it is better to sell/trade them with the set, which I believe I have complete.
Not trying to advertise, genuinely curious as I’m a Ninjago guy and castle is so foreign to me.

Great MOC of a fountain I found on Rebrickable, which I further modified to add the golden dragon and staff.
You can see where I've left space in the middle for the upcoming sleepy dragon inn.
