North American Politics The reason Americans join the military
Is because they are obsessed with guns and violence. They unintentionally promote school shootings, gangs and violence everyday. They are quick to fight you and won’t even back down when guns are introduced. Its on tv, music and movies and Americans don’t care about consequences. They will attack you because of your skin color and laugh about it on the internet. Behind closed doors they call you every name under sun and have no remorse when they kill you and your children.

General Leftist Politics Are Most Jews STILL Zionist? One Year Later
"Based on the latest polling evidence, little has fundamentally changed. While favorability toward Israel and approval of its conduct have shifted somewhat, overall support for Israel—particularly its status as a "Jewish state"—remains nearly unchanged, with the vast majority of Jews continuing to back the Zionist project, even as they express reservations about its current government.
So one must ask: given the facts presented here—nearly three years into a genocide carried out by the “Jewish state,” by Jews, for Jews, at the expense of non-Jews, with the overwhelming support of Jews worldwide—why does the Western “pro-Palestine” movement spend so much time and energy doing free PR for Jews? Why go so far as to lie on their behalf about what they actually believe? The Western left loves to talk about "centring voices." Well, this is what they've said. So why speak over them?"

General Leftist Politics Is superintelligence real?
I feel like this is a stupid question but I seriously don't know. I know we can only speculate on this but what are your thoughts?
I got in a serious argument with a friend who is an engineer who says it is absolutely fake because Trump coined the term "superintelligence". I now feel fairly neutral about all of this but I still think it should be regulated.

Question Sharia law?? Really??
Can someone please try to explain to me why the right thinks there is a secret plot to impose sharia law in this country?
Some jerk off friend of a friend on Facebook was poppin his mouth off about it like a 2 or 3 months ago, and it really threw me back. I pushed him to tell me why he thought that and where he heard it from, and then he went silent.
Then today my friend told me that her Christian aunts and uncles up in central New York all think this too.
I'm honestly so lost. Where the hell did this come from?
And I havent heard anyone in MSM or on the YouTubes bring it up, so I thought maybe that FB guy was just an embarrassed quack, until I heard about my friends relatives. Is this something widely believed on the right? Maybe on the super secret downlow, and that's why msm and YouTube chirpers haven't looked into this bonkers belief?

Debate Help Do we place too much pride and emphasis on great thinkers ?
So I consider myself a leftist and align myself with every left cause I can think of, but I find myself often frustrated and excluded from left spaces.
One example I was discussing comedians I like and mentioned I enjoy ones who push things to the line so to speak and make occasional jokes about race and sexuality because I find these relatable, for reference these comedians are almost all gay or black yet I had leftists telling me I can’t be left if I laugh at gay jokes ( even though a fuckin gay guy was telling the joke )
It seems to me like most left spaces claim to be for the working class yet are made up of mainly highly educated middle class people who likely haven’t faced many of the difficulties that they aim to ease.
Even in discussions there is so much double speak making topics inaccessible to people like me, and I honestly think the left put to much pride in wordy explanations and telling people they must learn this and that.
In the event of an uprising the 99% that will make it possible for us to have power are excluded, I’m not into the whole masculinity obsession that has swept the world but having grown up in Ireland and having ties to people that were volunteers during the British Invasion one thing is clear.
Any true left power which wants to take power needs strong fearless men who are capable of extreme violence in a higher ratio than great thinkers, both are important but I think more people who will take direct action matters more than people who write manifestos and plans.
Yet most left spaces I enter seem to be full of great thinkers and philosophers yet really lacking people with the strength and will to take action and the same people who would be willing to do so often feel alienated by some middle class white phd student.
Does this make sense to you guys or am I just waffling ?

Question Do you believe in censorship in music?
I recently discovered a genre of music called "national socialist black metal". The name is self-explanatory, it's nazis making black metal music.
I don't personally support any censorship in art, but I'd like to get your opinion on this.
