this goes absolutely crazy. one million hats off, one million flowers. The finished work is so, so, so beautiful and I really appreciate that you included a process breakdown that was so specific. I'm sure that'll be really helpful and encouraging to people here who see beautiful art and feel discouraged about how it seems impossible. Wow. thank you so much for sharing!!!

Checking for perspective errors when the drawing is pretty much finished (pic 10) makes no sense. It should be before adding features (pic 4)

You can always warp/ liquify at the end.

haha, yeah I agree. I made the perspective mistake and noticed it later on so I thought I would include it

So Incredible… This is a super inspiring process post!

Only question: what’s the thinking behind waiting until slide 10 to check perspective?

Awesome work (and tutorial/breakdown)!
P.S. For anyone reading, if you're doing this on paper (i.e. you can't really "paint over" in later stages, and the Liquify tool is not at your disposal), do the "make sure the perspective is correct" step early on during the sketch phase.

Is the reflected light something on her lower left cheek, from her white shirt?

2

u/bet-ray- Apr 08 '26

yes exactly, from hair and shirt as well under her chin. I would recommend to push saturation in reflect lights as well
