Discussion Where to go next

What level should I start the DLC's. I have played the game many times but just wonder what level you people do it at. Currently just deciding where to go from the Faelands

The game recommends that you don’t do the Dead Kel DLC until you reach level 10 if I recall correctly. I don’t recall as similar recommendation for any other DLC. Fatesworn has to be done at the end of the game’s main quest.

I like doing Teeth of Naros around level 20 and Dead Kel around level 30

Once you talk to the high king. The Argath and Alin show up one sends you to Detyer the other sends you to the Wolds

You can technically do them starting at level 10. Teeth of Naros starts in Dalentarth and Dead Kel starts in Rathir.

Me personally I like doing them after the main story but before the Fatesworn DLC.

I just follow the order laid out when you view the lore stones you've collected

I think I am going to do the Teeth before leaving Dalentarth. Almost level 20 now

Well Fatesworn has several quests which make enemies all over the world drop items which you can turn in for money and exp. Like sprite wings. And Fatesworn is easy. It's divided into normal game/chaos portals. You could do the normal game portion, get those quests going at the capital there.

Teeth of Naros doesn't really offer anything of value to ya.

Dead Kel offers you the flawless damaging parts to start making your gear all 60% damage minumum each. Dead Kel also has one of the best farming spots if you want exp and essence of fate from using fate mode in the game with those I think 5 in the area root golems like way northeast. In front of the end game Tuatha place with 3 prismere trolls in cages.

I've been wondering the same thing about Teeth of Naros. In my first playthrough I did Dead Kel once I reached Rathir, since that seemed like the logical time to do it. After that I just wanted to get on with the main story and never went back for Naros.

Well, now I've reached Rathir in my second playthrough, only this time I only did the Plains of Erathell and haven't been down to Detyre yet. So I still have a reason to head back towards Dalentarth. I guess I'll go for Naros after this and then do Dead Kel after I've cleared out Detyre.

Do every thing on the west side first. Don’t start the breaking of the siege main quest unless you’re ready to travel to the final parts of the map which is on the east (right)

What I did was clear Dalanthar, Detyr, 3 faction questline (warsworn, ballads, scholia arcana) then did teeth of naros dlc , went back and cleared erathell and the rest of the faction questlines then Legend of dead kel and finally cross over to the east

U don’t have to do it this way but I find it works best and most efficient for me. I chose those three faction questlines to complete first bc those are the 3 shortest faction questlines.

If you are min maxing I would do the DLCs after completing the main game since they scale very high, even beyond level 40.

Since I like get the uniques as high a stat level as possible.

I like to do the House of Valor. Then the Legend of Dead Kel, then Teeth of Naros, then the Fatesworn expansion.

This actually follows the publication release schedule.

If you want to do the DLCs thru natural progression you do Teeth of Naros when you get to Ettinmere, House of Valor when you get to Detyre, and Legend of Dead Kel after you get to Rathir. The Fatesworn expansion after the main quest is over.

My problem with this is that the gear you get from the DLCs is so good that when you return to the main game the loot is so underwhelming.

I used the Teeth of Naros gear for so long because nothing in the main game was any good for about 10 level ups.
