Discussion Bought a Kingdoms of Amalue:Reckoning disk for PS3, and I'm interested in buying the DLCs but can't connect to the servers

I believe they are very close or already have shut down the PS3 store but if it's still open, the last I remember, you need to add funds to your wallet and purchase on a PC then go to your account and download from there or something like that.

The servers may be shut down. And those DLCs have been gone from the US PS3 store for a long time. However, I was able to obtain them from the Hong Kong PS3 store some years back. That would entail setting up a new profile based in HK, and buying HK PlayStation currency. But those servers may be shut down as well, at this point.

Couldn’t hurt to check, a guy was on here about 6 months ago with the same issue, and he was able to get them.

I just downright can't connect to the servers, and since it's on a disk I don't think purchasing them through the store won't work

The only issue would be connecting to the servers. The only way to ever access it was through the disk.
