Discussion This was a crazy starting weapon, normal?
First time playing Re-reckoning, played the original. I found this somewhere right outside Gorhart at level 2 maybe even 1, right after equipping The Flame lol. I didn't realize how strong it was, until I was still using it at level 9. I wanted a greatsword playthrough lol. Found a nice greatsword with 84 attack at level 12 🤣
What's the highest you've found early game?

One of the (best) changes over the original is that zones now always scale to your level, the level of the zone resets whenever you leave and come back.
Now you can kinda just go wherever you want without having to worry about screwing over your loot tables.
So yes, that is now normal, and I love every second of it.

Theres no way it scales with your level. Almost all the loot I found in my game was like almost always 20 levels lower than me. Even starting the one of the DLC’s at like level 31 I was getting like level 16 gear

It still enforces the "regional cap" for each zone.
You are not going to find Prismere at Gorhart no matter how hard you try.

Then how do u get the ”Out of Your League” achievement when they need 2 be 4 levels higher or do u just mean the loot not enemies?

Zones still wont scale below(or above) their respective limits.

The best way I've found is to rush to Erathell at the start of the game. IIRC you can also kill a guard in the Gorhart jail, but then you've got a criminal record if you care about that.

Not sure, once I get a pair of Chakrams I stop using anything else. My second weapon slot is a second pair of Chakrams.

This is me. I've done Chakrams on all my playthroughs. I really do need to try something else 😂

I usually run a might and magic build so I do Chakrams and either hammer or great sword because big numbers go brrr

I got a lv69 scepter from a chest in gorhart once,i could only get one mabye 2 shots with the mana i had but it one shot just about all red legion and most others,so i was happy for a little while…🤪🙈

I found a health regeneration ring/amulet in that first optional dungeon in the game.
2.5 health regeneration and like 30 health bonus. On a green item. It is from the random treasure pile you unlock from having detect hidden high enough.

I got a 73 birch bow right after the tutorial. Salvaged it for the flawless mitharan fulcrum. For elm I got 92. And now oak it's 113.

The game will sometimes drop overpowered weapons and gear. It's nice when it happens, and will help before you can blacksmith your own overpowered gear.
I usually will keep certain weapons like that in my stash for fun. (BTW, Make sure to repair that staff!)
It's too bad we can't display weapons in our player housing.

I remember finding gold quality might and sorcery armor early in the game. Later the loot I find in later areas pretty much beats my gold quality loot

Don’t get too attached to particular items early-mid game and don’t buy any weapons at all because you’ll constantly find better loot along the way. Cool find though definitely a nice early game drop. Can’t remember my best early game drop but my great sword has like 250 base damage but does thousands of damage each strike from stacking damage gems. I’ve made the game far too easy even on very hard difficulty.
