Humiliation it's essentially "a humbling act" or "to be humbled"
Here's a tiny tit bit of unsolicited advice that is probably too serious for this post, but goes way beyond the game. Learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Be ok with being embarrassed. Ask the question you think might be dumb until you get an answer. If they didnt answer the first time, chances are that they just didnt hear you, or weren't able to process the question at first. And if they did hear you and just ignored you, its them that could use some humbling.
Never be embarrassed by asking a question that you feel will help you grow.
*a caveat to that is that you should always try to answer the question yourself first. *THE ONLY DUMB QUESTION is the question you havent even processed yourself before asking.
Edit: in the context of this post; what are the marks on the map telling you? Where are the blueberries looking on the map? Where are the dead blueberries? Where is your armor? If you take all that in and still cant tell what youre walking in to, then keep asking till you get an answer.

That's all true, and one of my best skills is analyzing the map, but I still feel like an idiot talking to myself on command chat.

The trick with silent command chats is simple.
Don't just ask questions through command. If you get skunked on a question you ask, then drop it and transition to just using command chat to relay important, team wide information. Where is enemy armor? What direction is pressure coming from on defense? Offer supply runs.
Keep relaying info pertinent info through command chat and i promise you, your team will start to chatter. Then you'll be able to ask questions.
60% of the time it works every time.

I mean it's not you, it's them.
As long as you relay info, someone is listening even if they don't talk.I've noticed it takes a while for people to rally around more comms.
Like 1-2 rounds of you leading other SLs and suddenly games turn out much better

I stopped playing for a bit - came back and was constantly getting ignored in command. It was extremely frustrating - I'd be spotting enemy tanks, calling out for squads to do radio drops, but nobody would ever respond. This went on for like a week and I felt like just giving up on the game again.
Then finally I had a squad where people were saying they couldn't hear me - somebody said to go check some windows mic setting because apparently microsoft does dumb shit and enabled some feature which broke squad. That was it. Went on to have a spectacular match and a ton of fun.
That whole fucking time I was raging about shitty teams, when in fact - I was unknowingly the shitty player.

What setting is that the past week no matter what I do squad doesn’t pick up my mic- every single other game I use my mic no problem

I just quote Ghost after capturing that one dude in Rio. "Aight boys, Commands got their heads up their ass and we're on our own. Time to clutch for the team."

Why would this be humiliating? They are terrible at the game if they cant communicate with you when you ask a clear question. Fuck those noobs.

And then a GPUcrashdump triggers so it’s all good cause you ain’t opening the game again for it to just crash

For squad chat it doesn't happen to me, I always run a INF mic Req squad.
They don't have a mic they get kicked, generally no marksmen, always run in 3's, use smokes and things start going alright.
No room for ego or main character syndrome is why I choose to SL half the time tierd of SL's like that
Plus I play on certain servers

Keep your map updated. Every order should be followed up with a map mark. No one is listening 100% of the time, and I use an ultrawide so I frequently miss who's talking unless their comms are on point. Repeat the current squad objective every 2-3 minutes.

Or when an IFV passes next to the whole team and not a single person mark it or call it out

Main character syndrome is everywhere in squad, I play A lot of SL & usually put A marker at the start of the game where I’m setting up, grab A logi & build A fob. After that I tell my squad you’re free to do logi runs or push the objective, most of the time I’m setting up A base or running supplies.
If I get to push after everything is established I place rally, what makes every SL life harder is when your subordinates have their own vision of how the game should be played & can’t play around their own squad, lack patience in comms or simply ignore orders before pestering you. Plenty of dogshit SL’s lately because 90% of the experienced players are on WarDogs, Arma reforger, Ready or not & ground branch due to OWI fumbling update after update

Part of the reason I stopped playing, hardly anyone would respond. Was so bad I was even fucking around with my mic settings to make sure people could hear me and it was loud enough. Last time I played we were holding defense on a point and it went kind of like this:
"Hey are those enemies still pushing from the west?"
......
"Hey I can see an enemy squad to the south now, 150m, coming towards us"
.....
"They keep coming from the South, need help over here, I think they have a FOB or rally"
.....
Thanks lads, guess I will just go and fuck myself. Ended up loosing that game lmao.

You ask the SL what’s the plan. Silence. Seconds later “guys why are you all spread out I need you over here not bumfuckistan”
