Discussion Tony Stark Made Sacrifices, But So Did the AI He Created. Spoiler
Everyone talks about Tony's sacrifices, but JARVIS also played a huge role in protecting him and helping others. He was more than just an AI assistant.
Do you think JARVIS deserves more recognition for his sacrifices, or does the MCU overlook how much he contributed to Tony's journey?

Fan Creation Mysterium Iron Man Cosplay by ugoandcosplay
After taking advice from these communities, I turned my attention to Mysterium Iron Man and cosplayed with my friend as Emma Frost at New York Comic Con. Not an ideal build, only had less than a week, and was painting in my hotel room 😅 But nice to see it come to life

TV I need Rhodey to go back to being jacked up and having a beard. He had such gigachad energy in the 90s Animated Series.

Comics What are your thoughts on the Iron Man Vs. Whiplash mini series?
Since the Anton Vanko iteration of Whiplash is a major antagonist of the current Iron Man run, I thought it would be fun to retrospect his debut.
I personally enjoyed it. Since Marco Scarlotti has been dead for a little bit when this came out, I'm not against making a new Whiplash inspired by the upcoming Iron Man 2. I thought the mystery of the fake Iron Man attacking Volstok was interesting and the reveal at the end was interesting too. The makeshift armor Tony made in prison was pretty neat. Not very practical for combat but perfectly displays how intelligent and scrappy Tony is. I do however think that naming the new Whiplash 'Anton Vanko' was a mistake. While the Crimson Dynamo Anton Vanko had been dead for decades and people in real life do share the same name sometimes, I think it's a confusing writing decision.

Discussion Iron Man armours during the Knaufs era faced Sentry, Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Graviton & won all these fights. Would be so cool if Joshua Williamson is able to make Tony a serious powerhouse again.
Source: Iron Man Execute Program & Director of Shield (by Knaufs)
It would be so cool if Joshua Williamson is able to make Iron Man a serious competent badass character again, feels like for more than a decade, he's mostly been turned into a wisecracking character.

Collectibles / Merchandise Custom ZD Toys Mark 16
I really like ZD Toys’s mold, such a shame that their paint job looks cheap. Here’s my attempt to fix their plastic-y finish!

Comics Is there ever an explicit reason given for why a few of War Machine’s armors lack a Unibeam module?
I haven’t gotten that far into this era of Iron Man comics yet (or at least, none that prominently feature Rhodey), so I’m a bit confused why some of his armors are missing the Unibeam. I’ve looked it up many times but can’t seem to find an answer anywhere.
His first armor had one, so why’d he give it up?
Edit: after all these years my question has been solved, thank you guys! For anyone in the future who has the same question and stumbles upon this post:
When Tony Stark wore the Iron Man Model 11 (first slide), he built it without repulsors since his opponents had countermeasures for them, and the War Machine Model III (second slide) actually does have one, it’s just hidden most of the time.

Comics Tony gets confused for Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man Vs. Whiplash #3)
I thought this was a fun nod. I'm sure Tony's glad someone didn't recognize him while he's on the run.

Discussion Suddenly got reminded that Iron Man was referenced in Naruto 12 years ago, any other anime where that happens?
Barely remember anything about Naruto but that one stuck with me, weird show to make that reference. How popular was the MCU in Japan anyway?

Discussion How would the Iron Man movies look if these were the villains of the trilogy?
You can use them in any order you want and tweak their back stories to be more related to Tony (since Iron Man 2 has both Whiplash and Justin hammer you can replace one and keep the other like replacing Whiplash with Ghost or vice versa)

Comics How did the Mk 75 do this? Nanotech? Molecular Re-arranger? (Iron Man #10) Spoiler
galleryIn today's issue, the Iron Man armor pulls other components into itself to grow itself. It doesn't just cling to other systems like War Machine's armor did once, it actively incorporated/changed the tech to fit the Iron Man design. Whiplash's weapons became its own, the bomb-control UI was under Tony's control. The damaged faceplate even regrows; it doesn't just call in a replacement faceplate, we see it mid-growth and this time I don't think this could be an art error as it's his main book and a central plot point. This also puts this suit's previous quasi-morphing (the bike armor, the stealth mode, the Mysterio mode) into new context.
This armor clearly has a high degree of morphology without actually being a fluid. How do you think it does this? The only concept I can think of is maybe a new recipe of nanotech or maybe something like Ultron's molecular re-arranger) device.
