Seeing Blaze tonight at the Bristol Exhange, was just passing the venue as I was on the way to get something to eat before the gig and he was stood at the bar in the window! Went in for a quick picture and chat.

Drew this when I was 20. Tacked my "Killers" shirt on the wall and drew it out free hand. Still one of my favorites.

I'm always really surprised that I don't see this album loved more.

I truly think it's one of their best albums in their entire discography.

It's got a great mix of different types of songs and it feels highly inspired throughout.

It never outstays its welcome for me and the whole thing just feels inspired.

Plus I think it has the best sonics of any of the reunion albums by far, aside from AMOLAD. It actually sounds good.

Isle of Avalon

El Dorado

Starblind

The Talisman

The Man Who Would Be King

Where the Wild Wind Blows

Man, those are some KILLER tracks. A number of them actually give me '80s Maiden vibes for real, meaning I could hear them slotted into, say, Powerslave or something

I just wanted to spread some love for this album because I feel like it is always looked over and I'm never sure why.

El Dorado, shit that should be a setlist staple.....

Here are my top albums ranked (at least I tried to).

I bought the 50 year trooper

Kinda like most of the 2010 leg of the Final Frontier tour.

Lets try 15-18ish songs and really try for flow and structure! :)

I'm not up on Senjutsu yet so mine will only be through The Boom of Souls

Heres what Id do right now:

• 1. Wildest Dreams
• 2. El Dorado
• 3. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns
• 4. The Red and the Black
• 5. Dream of Mirrors
• 6. Paschendale
• 7. The Talisman
• 8. Rainmaker
• 9. The Book of Souls
• 10. Isle of Avalon

Hi, I'm a young Maiden fan (14), I got into the band last year, and I was instantly hooked. As soon as I found out they were coming here I did everything possible to go. I saved up a fair bit to afford it. Any tips or recommendations?

Edit: It was great!!

Anyone know when the video and album is dropping? How long had the wait been on earlier live albums? Really eager for it

whatever songs you want! lemme see them!

Sup. so i went to two shows on this tour (fuckin awesome on the floor btw) and during aces high, i noticed on eddies plane it showed many versions of him. those being Iron Maiden, Killers, Number of The Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave. but next to the pharaoh eddie, there was a question mark. is this hinting at a new eddie, therefore, a new album?

My top 9 albums in order ATM. No suprises maybe, but 80's were killer time.

British Lion are doing a 6 night residency at the Cart & Horses in Stratford this December. Is anyone else planning to attend. I have all 6 nights booked.

Apparently Priest were asked to open for Maiden in the US, but I guess things didn't work out and they went with Megadeth and Anthrax

i saw an instagram ad for sniper 3d and apparently they have cyborg eddie everywhere? is this an actual collab? im an idiot and the curiousity got to me so i downloaded the game. its so goddamn weird

I’m traveling solo from the US and wanted to see if anyone wants to meet up before the show and go together. I’m staying in the San Nicolas neighborhood near Plaza del Congreso but can meet elsewhere.

For me, it's the Legacy of the Beast Corrupt General lapel pin. LotB was what got me properly into Maiden, and the Corrupt General was one of my favourite characters from the game design-wise. He was in a trooper-themed pin set with a Union Jack pin with Trooper Eddie's face on it. The trouble is, when I found out about the pin set, it was already discontinued, and it was never even availiable in NZ in the first place. I have been searching eBay for years, and have seen basically every other LotB pin (including the trooper flag pin that came with it!) for sale, except for this one.

And, I wasn't going to do this, but if anyone is willing to sell me one, I'd be interested in working out a deal.

EDIT: Was not aware that they are still purchasable in the US, so I am no longer looking to buy one from someone here.

Bought a jacket from Primark, couldn't believe it i had to have it. But i couldn't leave it like it was it just looked sad. Iron Maiden don't make me sad so the jacket shouldn't.

So as it says work in progress. But what do you think so far?

it would have been so awesome to see them back then.
