It doesnât significantly degrade quality. You wouldnât be able to tell in a blind test

u/Flashy-Outcome4779 16h ago
A cheap, shitty piece of glass over the entire lens will in fact make it noticeably worse

No it wonât. Iâm a photographer. Youâre a random redditor who doesnât know what youâre talking about, parroting information you read online. We are not the same.

âWhy do you have a sticker on the back of your iPhone Air? You do realize that makes it 0.1g heavier and the purpose of the Air is to be lightweight, right??? Physics is physicsâ-type energy

If you've ever wondered who falls for the "seran wrap on the toilet" prank...
It's this guy. It must be true. It's the same level of blind.

But you took the picture with another phone.... hmm

This is not an intelligent commentâŠ. People have tablets, friends and family members and room mates with phones, etc.
And itâs not a very high quality photo either so who is to say it isnât an older/backup phone?

I know a guy that just now upgraded from an 8 to an 18 Pro, only because the cell modem started having issues. It had like 3 or 4 battery replacements. He uses phones until they refuse to work.

I love you lol this is some thing I would do too. I had the 13 pro for 7 years and loved it but switched only because of the battery and camera

How did you not have money to upgrade all these yrs and then suddenly had money and need to buy the Pro and not even base? Genuinely curious.

Just because someone doesnât have the latest technology doesnât mean they canât afford it. What a daft comment.

American brain cannot understand having the money for things you may want and not immediately spending all of said money to acquire all things. đ

People who don't upgrade every year are more likely to be good at saving money and spending responsibly (which then enables you to buy nice things) đ

I wish my 6 was still around. Currently have an 11, not crazy about the 18, like a fold Phone but not in love with the Duo look. If it was easy Iâd jump to the Galaxy Ultra 8

Whatâs your qualms with the 18 pros? And, donât take this the wrong way but Iâm curious, what are you doing here?
1
u/1Tbonejay 17h ago
No real qualm, just not very impressed with it, sure it has a new engine and other things but my 11 is still kicking. Why, trying to get educated to make a good decision. Is that a problem for you?

u/SharkDad20 Burgundy Bricc 14h ago
You just went ahead and took it the wrong way anyways, lol
1
u/1Tbonejay 13h ago
Not really, but itâs ok. Just trying to get educated so I ask questions.

Asking if i had a problem with you being on the sub made it seem like you took it the wrong way.
Anyways, i would be very upset to have an 11, so i guess if you donât use your phone for much intensive stuff, no need to upgrade

I do have Apple Care and about 9 months ago they replaced the battery. or they tell me they did; all I know is it runs down FAST, and they is why I'm getting serious about looking to upgrade. It's not really then price, I love the idea of a fold, but since mi 11 was one of the first ones, it was had some issues. So a New Duo, is a non-starter until it's been out for at least 18 months or more. Thanks for your feedback.

Have you tried doing a factory reset and setting the phone up as new?

For the love of God, get those lens protectors off. Ruins photos for no upside at all
