Hi everyone.
I was just wondering if I should get a skin for my iPad Pro M4 13-inch.
Currently I am using a spigen rugged armour case. So I was thinking do I need to apply lamination skins on all side from dbrand or somewhere for better protection?
I'm looking for a device that can somewhat do everything I would need for work while also being able to take it home with me.
For reference, I'm an Aircraft Maintenance Floor Lead that handles a lot of paperwork, troubleshooting, and retrieving aircraft files. I also edit a lot of PDFs and sketch out notes for the day. We have several programs for our aircraft that require the use of an IPad but we also have proprietary programs that read data from the aircraft using Windows Programs.
I've read that UTM can virtualize Windows on an IPad but I don't know to what extent it can use USB Port passthrough to read and send signals.
Is that possible? A big part of this too is being able to cut down on what I need to carry in my backpack for the day.

I feel like a question like this comes up reasonably regularly on here, but here I am struggling to choose the screen size of my next iPad.
I currently have a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch which is really starting to finally creak along after 8 years of service. This has been my main do-it-all device, spending most of its time either in a magic keyboard case or attached to a Kuxiu arm on my nightstand for media consumption in bed. I have a pencil, but seldom use it, besides signing documents occasionally. I honestly really don’t need the Pro, but want the better screen and figure that buying the most powerful iPad I can today will set me up well for another long journey with this new tablet.
Prior to this iPad I had the OG pro iPad 12.9, and remember enjoying the additional portability that moving to the 11 gave me.
Still I am stuck in choosing sizes. There is the strong draw of the larger screen size and the knowledge that the iPads have become more portable since my current iPad was released and way thinner since my OG larger iPad came out.
I travel a fair bit with my tablet, both to and from the office and on flights, so I worry that the 13 will be too feel on the airplane tray table or hotel nightstand, but enjoy the idea of having a larger image to watch content or screen to better multitask with when working or browsing etc.
Anyone else gone through this dilemma? What did you do? Were you happy with your choice?

Hey guys, I'm planning to buy a keyboard for my iPad Air M4 13-inch and I'm confused between ESR Rebound 360 and Typecase Edge Magic.
I like the floating design like Apple's Magic Keyboard, but I don't want to spend that much on Apple's original one.
I've seen some people mention magnetic issues with ESR, so I'm a bit concerned about that. Also, I want to know which one has a better and bigger trackpad.
If anyone is using either of these, how's the typing experience and build quality? Any issues after using it for a few months?
I know the Typecase doesn't have a detachable iPad case in the version I'm looking at.
Which one would you guys buy? Would really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who have used them. Thanks!

I just bought a iPad Pro m4 256gb cellular for $1050 with tax in Canada. 100% battery heath, 7 cycles.
Upgraded from a iPad air 4 I had since launch in 2020.
What are the best screen protectors that will:
- Be edge to edge with minimal glare and border
- Possibly no camera and face ID cutout

I'd like to ask for advice on how I should proceed. There aren't any Apple stores where I'm from and I'd really like to at least get a repair, my degree live(d) on this thing. And I can't really afford a replacement, unfortunately. Also I don't live in the US.

I currently have an iPad Pro (2021). Which iPadOS version should I stick with? Do I need to upgrade to iPadOS 27 or 28?

Hello,
I got my iPad in January 2024. I've been using it for school and drawing (Procreate app) ever since. So far, I haven't had any issues with it, but this morning I've noticed green/yellow-ish tint around the screen.
I've never treated it roughly, so I am not sure if I caused it somehow :( sadly, it's out of warranty, so I doubt AppleCare could help me. Still, is it possible to solve this with display replacement? I'm afraid this issue could become worse overtime and I really don't have spare 1500€ as a student, but I love my iPad (and Procreate 😭) so much that I don't really want to give up on it :(
Thank you in advance for your help and answers!

I initially sent my iPad to a technician for a charging port diagnosis. Unfortunately, due to improper handling or a mistake during the repair, the technician ended up damaging the motherboard, making a motherboard replacement necessary. The original agreed rate for the repair was ₱7,000.
As a compromise, the owner decided to purchase a secondhand iPad of the same model to use as a motherboard donor. However, he later offered to swap the entire unit for an additional ₱9,000 instead.
The catch is that the replacement iPad is an LL/A variant, along with other factors that need to be considered, such as the unit’s purchase date, condition, and overall value.
**Given the circumstances, is accepting the ₱9,000 unit swap a fair and reasonable deal, considering that the damage occurred while the iPad was under the technician’s care?**

Hey there. I have a 13” IPad Pro M4 with 45 cycles and the battery is already at 96% capacity? I have had the 80% charge limit on since the beginning and am very confused, as it took like a year and half to 2 years for my iPhone to hit 96% using the same settings. Any help would be appreciated. I have Apple Care and would really like a new battery if this is a known issue. Thank you!

I’m looking for a modular case system for an 11-inch iPad (A16, 2025) that I’m buying my wife for Christmas.
I currently use a ZUGU case on my own iPad and absolutely love it, especially the protection and folding screen cover when traveling.
However, I’d like my wife’s iPad to function in three different ways without ever removing its protective case:
Tablet/travel mode: A detachable magnetic folio cover that protects the screen when closed, similar to ZUGU.
Laptop mode: A detachable magnetic keyboard with a trackpad that the iPad can dock into while remaining in its protective shell.
Desktop mode: A premium aluminum floating stand that the iPad can magnetically snap onto, ideally with charging.
The idea is to have one protective shell that stays on the iPad permanently, while the folio, keyboard, and desktop dock are interchangeable.
I’ve looked into the ESR Shift Magnetic Case, ESR Shift Keyboard Case, Typecase Edge+, and a few others, but I haven’t found a system where all the accessories work with the same shell.
Ideally, I’d like something available in pink or a neutral color that complements a pink iPad. Has anyone found a setup like this? I’m open to mixing brands, using magnetic adapters, or even modifying a stand if necessary.
I’d especially appreciate recommendations from anyone who has personally tested a case with both a magnetic keyboard dock and a separate floating desktop stand.
Thanks!
