My iPhone 16 Pro Max is basically unusable because of its battery life since upgrading to iOS26 and now iOS27. I rely on my phone for work throughout the day, both on-site and off-site, so this is becoming a real problem.

I’ve noticed that the battery drains much faster when reception is poor. The other day, at a gym with terrible coverage, I used my phone for music during my workout, then left it locked away in my locker, untouched, while I spent almost two hours in the wellness area. The battery dropped from 75% to 18% in that time, which is ridiculous.

Could poor cellular reception be the cause of so much drain? Especially since many have experienced improvement after disabling Connectivity Assist.

On my iPhone 16e I was getting 300mbps max on ios 26. But now on ios 27 I am getting nearly 900mbps.

TLDR: First time seeing it, never given context, no clue what any of it means.

Picture attached shows what my video timelines look like from my photos. Can’t find any consistency to single out what it is. Can someone explain please?

Only reason is because this is how all my videos, past and present, currently display their timelines (in this sort of fashion).

Using base 17, my battery dies much quicker since the ios 27 update. 80% used to last me the whole day, now I have to charge it midday.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

随后我升级了27.2beta4，问题依旧存在。

出现问题时，我的局域网其他设备wifi速度均正常。

On the new iOS 27, unlike many other people, I manage to get excellent battery life on a single charge; however, I frequently experience stutters and lag while scrolling in most apps (Instagram, X, Reddit, the App Store, and others). I have a 16. Since updating to iOS 27, my mail widget, which I set to the rectangular size, is very slow, temperamental and seemingly picky about when and how it refreshes. Mail always shows on lock screen (I have iCloud and outlook only), but the home screen widget doesn’t show new emails in a timely fashion, as it would always do on iOS 26 versions.

My notifications are set to push, I’ve asked various sources on the internet/AI and they all say it’s a glitch that MIGHT be fixed in 27 updates but I’m not convinced.

Would appreciate knowing if it’s just me, if I’m doing something wrong, anything I can change in my settings or if I should just sit tight for an update to fix this.

Sheet of paper about an appointment I had it picked it up and made the appropriate entry in my calendar. That was cool. Still there is a lot to be desired about IOS 27 and SIRI.
