Got iOS 18.6.1 booting tethered on my iPhone 17 Pro. 18.6.1 doesn't ship with A19 Pro support, so I took the iOS 26 device tree and firmware blobs and loaded them under a patched 18.6.1 kernelcache. The kernel bug I found with REA lets me push all of that over USB at boot, which is why it's tethered. Known issues: ProMotion isn't working (stuck at 60Hz), no sound yet, and the status bar glitches sometimes. Other than those 3 things it's really fluid and smooth. For sound I just use Bluetooth AirPods. Not sharing details yet since it's unpatched.

Sheet of paper about an appointment I had it picked it up and made the appropriate entry in my calendar. That was cool. Still there is a lot to be desired about IOS 27 and SIRI.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max has 91% battery health. Before updating, I could easily get around 6–8 hours of battery life, but after updating to iOS 27.0.1, the battery drains insanely fast.
The weird part is that the phone’s performance is perfectly fine. No lag, no stuttering, everything runs smoothly. The only problem is the battery consumption and overheating.
For example, I use Google Maps for my commute from home to work at around 8 AM, and by around 10 AM, my battery is almost dead. The phone also gets extremely hot, even though the system itself is still running smoothly.
On iOS 27.0, I had absolutely no issues. This started only after updating to 27.0.1.
Things I’ve already tried:
Factory reset
Erased all content and settings
Nothing has worked so far.
Is anyone else experiencing this on an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 27.0.1? The phone isn’t lagging at all, but the battery drain is CRAZY, and the overheating makes it even worse.
Is this an iOS 27.0.1 bug, or is something wrong with my device? Has anyone found a fix? 😭

No longer do you only have the option to "mark as spam and delete" incoming call log data. You are given the option to just "mark as spam".... however, the Idiot system still deletes all evidence if you mark an incoming call/message as spam. 🤦

My 12 pro top earpiece speaker randomly stopped working. My iPhone recently auto updated to 27.0.1 around a week ago. My earpiece speaker I noticed stopped working 3-4 days ago. Is this related?

My iPhone 13 is running latest iOS 27.0.1 and proximity sensors are not working for me, specially during call. Whenever I am attending a call, the screen stays on instead of turning off Not only this, but the auto brightness works properly only in extreme conditions, either totally dark or when I go outside. Looks like while fixing the Face ID problem on iPhone 18 pros, they have somehow broken older iPhones light sensor, ambient sensor or proximity sensor. I have tried everything which was available on the internet, but nothing is happening. Are you guys also facing the same problem or is it just me?

I am on ios 27.0.1 and today it said do you want to use your number for imessage and I said yes. As if I had toggled imessage off which I didn't. When I turn on my phone, it switches off on its own. My phone is se 3rd generation. SO is this a bug in ios 27.0.1? Im hoping they fix this in a future update. There must be a bug or code broken in ios 27.0.1 causing this.
