I don’t post often in anything as I’m more of a lurker. But someone pointed me here for advice. I got this from a family member and for a minute I didn’t think much of it but my son looked it up and said I should look a little closer at it. We live very close to Avery island, so assumed it was just something they were giving away to locals and the local store on the island tends to have stuff you can’t really find in the wild. So just thought it was a fancy Tabasco gift. It’s completely sealed and never opened. Any ideas on what it’s worth? They don’t sell very often. Any thoughts are appreciated
Edit: tabasco! Me and auto correct are not on agreeable terms

2 pounds of fresh ghost peppers in grain alcohol( Everclear 190 proof) for about 6 weeks. I strained the peppers out and this is what's left. I'm letting it evaporate for a couple of days before I bottle it up. I'm excited to try it!

Being from my area in PA we’ve always been spoiled by torchbearer sauces. One of my friends gifted this to me the other night and it was so delicious I had to share. Has anyone ever had this brand before?

Any idea what this is or how it would end up in an unopened bottle of hot sauce? I took the green seal off the top of this bottle of crystals hot sauce and this was inside, safe to say this one make it to tables…

Looking for some odd sauces to add to the shelf. But I’m specifically wanted some weirder and unique stuff, for example I just recently found a sauce made from ants called “ant sauce” haven’t tried it yet 😂 but I’m looking for sauces along those lines of interest. (Edit: funny sauce names or unique bottle design/decal also fits the category, yall are awesome!)

Love this hot sauce. Not a fan of some of the ingredients (citric acid, xantham gum, preservatives). Does anyone know a sauce with similar taste but better ingredients?

Got my first ever superhots given to me and wanna try making something with them.
Any suggestions, things to avoid, when working with these spicy fellas?
Is fermentation a good idea? If so what would you pair with it? Should I just go straight cooked sauce?
I'm at a loss. I'm new to making sauces but I'm adventurous!
Thanks for any help and inspiration y'all might have for me!
Edit to add - I know these aren't fully ripe and I should have mentioned that, sorry. They were pulled by the person because they were outdoor plants and our area was about to be hit by frost.

Man do I love datil peppers. The vinegar is great on fries. Very similar to Steak n Shake. Excited to try the sauce on the far left. That and the blue bottle I’ve never had. I live in Central IL. Can’t ever find datil hot sauce up here.

I'm always looking for hot sauce for pizza and/or pasta, so this one that keeps popping up in my feeds, that describes itself as "Hot Sauce for Pasta" has my interest. However, haven't seen any comments or reviews. Anyone try it?

Looking for recipes or substitutes for ZippyZap and Warshyoursister sauces. I am not near a physical retailer and paying $35+ for 2 bottles of sauce seems excessive when I'm sure it can be re-created.

Ok I’m sure everyone has heard of Taco John’s Super Hot sauce. Puréed canned jalapeños made fresh in every store. Special order on items or as a side.
Funny today I ordered inside and asked for Super Hot. Girl said our sauces are over there pointing to the trays of what I figured were just the normal sauces. Then she finally asked if I wanted a “side” of Super Hot. Absolutely!
While waiting sure enough they now have shelf stable packets of Super Hot. I grabbed a few to compare to the fresh. Pretty close in flavor, heat and texture IMO.
So those that enjoy it you can now kinda stock up….
Don’t know when they started carrying them.

So I broke this out the other night and just now got a minute to share. Besides the label being one of the coolest Halloween themed labels I've ever seen, this is an absolute banger. As soon as I opened it the smokey smell was fabulous. I knew I was on for something great. Obviously to go along with the smell the smoke flavor comes straight to the front followed by the garlic. I told my wife this would be great with cheese and crackers. I went to the kitchen and got the stuff out. In the middle of making a plate I had a brilliant idea. It's deer season, so holy hell, I need to use this as a marinade for deer jerky. Then being a bit behind as I am, I realized, ohhhh, rat jerky! If you love jerky you will 100% guarantees to love this sauce. It really is jerky in a bottle! Thanks for the hook up Sauce Daddy Hot Sauce, I'll be placing an order for more Friday.
