Hi People. I recently watched a video on the mod On The Clouds Of Heaven - The Final Judgement and I'm really confused as to what this Satan sprite is supposed to be? If anyone knows more than me please let me know. I feel like I'm very well educated on the Catholic and Orthodox faith and I'm confused as to what the hell this is supposed to be.

Discussion I am really excited for Pax Britannica

I recently came across the beta version for Pax Britannica (I was informed it's already available to the public, the version I played is the beta for. Future updates) and the setting itself already sounded compelling enough, the idea of Queen Victoria becoming the Eternal Empress because Edison experimented on her for her survival, sounded like an intriguing premise.

Add on to that: a post Great War world with unique nations I hadn't seen before and creative ideas for different systems I immediately downloaded it.

I decided to play as my home country of Mexico to see what they were doing.

Mexico basically was the Ottoman of the Americas, once a powerful force that now has decayed and is slowly dying.

While right now it features limited content (only up to the reunification of lost lands of the empire) it's still a really interesting play through for all the events you get to see and the mechanic for managing loyalty of your states didn't feel too tedious but wasn't just a road bump either.

The big event you get as Mexico is the reclamation of your lost lands after you fix the Nation and sort of make it less horrible to live in.

When you pick the relevant focuses you immediately declare war on the North and South nations, whichever side you pick you get the bonus for it.

Honestly the war wasn't too difficult beyond California and Tejas.

Also another point I really like is the management of technology, given the unique setting you of course get some unique tech.

Featured in the second photo is the unique branch where you can research both chemical and biological weapons, plus stimulants for your troops.

The interesting thing is that for chemical weapons the damage is applied to whichever state you are targeting so it persists for a while which could be negative for you, the biological weapons have a unique feature as some can spread beyond the selected state quickly creating issues for you.

So they are essentially a double edge sword and have to be careful where you apply them.

In the third photo we see the tab of Augments and what I would call one of the highlights of the mod itself.

The amalgamates are essentially a hotpot of genes of animals put into a singular being that is then deployed in your front lines as divisions, they are decent ish and not too expensive (Australia has a nation where these creatures escaped and evolved and now haunt that side of Australia)

The other one I tested was the enhanced human and honestly I really liked the aesthetics of it.

The Razor maidens are essentially women who have gone extensive mechanical changes to their bodies making them an excellent special forces division and they are very fast as well plus can hit hard even punching through tank divisions with the right support.

I could keep talking on and on about various features such as the automatons, the space race between Russian and Britain, the Second Great War, the fractured America and the genuinely fascinating world build they are doing but this post has been long enough I feel and I would rather people experience that for themselves

AI Assisted I made a mod that lets you rename basically anything in HOI4: your country, leaders, parties, factions, states, cities, your leader's picture, country flag, even your subjects!

Teaser The capstone focuses and formable for democratic Iceland in my mod

The capstone focuses and formable available to Iceland in my mod. Most of the focuses are about what type of government you'll get. You can have a bunch of types, even communist or fascist ones. But you also get access to a small foreign policy branch.

The foreign policy branch starts off by you determining if you'll be neutral or not. You can be historical and join NATO, or join any other available faction. And if that's not your speed, you can become neutral.

You then get focuses where you send demands to Denmark about its Atlantic territories. You can demand Faroe's independence, which is the same regardless of government type. However, the Greenland focus works a little differently. If you have a left-wing government, you will demand their independence. However, if you go any other government type, you will demand its annexation. This is to represent how the Icelandic communists were the only party that supported Greenlandic independence and opposed the Icepandic claim to Greenland.

Then you get a choice on what to do with your Atlantic neighbours. You can form an alliance with them, the West Nordic Council. Or you can united with them into the West Nordic Federation where you propose a unification of the three islands. Greenland is less likely to accept than Faroe for historical reasons.

And then you also get an option to buy Jan Mayen off of Norway.

Hi all, is there an up to date "blank slate" mod that erases EVERYTHING but the base mechanisms, and thus doesn't pop up a billion errors in the debug file?

Is there cosmetic or "quality of life" mods, that can be played with enable achievements? I want to play more aestetical, but with achievements.

Discussion [Mod Concept] Hearts of Iron IV: A Century of Alternate History (1910–2026)

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for feedback and potentially collaborators for an ambitious Hearts of Iron IV mod concept.

The idea is to create a century-spanning alternate history experience, with multiple starting dates:

- 1910: The age of empires and the road to the Great War.

- 1919: The aftermath of the First World War.

- 1920: Revolutions, reconstruction and political instability.

- 1936: The rise of new international blocs.

- 1939: A world approaching another major conflict.

- 1945: The beginning of a possible Cold War.

- 1950: A changing international order.

- 1991: The transition towards the modern world.

The long-term goal would be to allow players to continue their campaigns towards 2026, with evolving technology, national focus trees, political systems, diplomacy and alternative historical outcomes.

The initial inspiration comes from my own Great War Redux campaign, in which Germany won the First World War in 1915.

By 1922, Germany dominates much of continental Europe through the Reichspakt, Austria has reorganised into a multinational Habsburg monarchy, France is divided between a syndicalist Commune and a republican government in exile, Britain has established an Imperial Entente, and the Russian Republic has survived a Bolshevik uprising.

One possible 1936 scenario would feature four major factions: the Reichspakt, Imperial Entente, Danubian Federation and Third International.

This is currently a concept and planning-stage project, not a playable mod. I'm new to HOI4 modding and would like to learn while helping with historical research, worldbuilding, national focus design and project coordination.

I'm interested in meeting people experienced in scripting, focus trees, map editing, graphics, technology systems and balancing.

The intention is to develop the project in manageable stages, starting with a small playable prototype rather than attempting to build the entire century immediately.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, suggestions and whether anyone would be interested in helping develop the concept!
