Dating Advice Needed/Given How do i stop leading someone on?
I'm 16F, and there's this guy I met (who approached me), that goes to a different school than I (thankfully), we were texting just normal stuff and then he said something along the lines of "when can I see you again." So I interpreted it in a way, and started to flirt with him just to see what would happen. And so that went on for a bit, until I finally decided to talk regularly again, but he's still being flirty.
I'm not sure I even like him since we only met in person once and it was pretty innocent.
I just feel really nervous now when I get a text from him, and I'm not sure if it's just butterflies or I'm genuinely just uncomfortable.
Now I'm just unsure what to do and I'm probably going to see him really soon (at a school fair).
If anyone can help me out, like I'm not sure how to tell him I don't really like him and it was just me testing things out, and I'm not even sure if he likes me either so.

I’ve been in a similar situation, there’s many ways to let him down but the best way is the honest way and as soon as possible so his feelings for you doesn’t get stronger otherwise it’ll just get harder and harder. Just let him know that you don’t see this working out so he can look for someone else.

Just say it outright and if he does actually have feelings for you now the best thing for him is to cut him off so he doesn't hang on to the romantic feelings
