Wondering if anyone can help me identifying some Gold and Brown markers I have, but not sure where they came from. I believe both colours have been used for Negation Markers.

I have 3 gold markers. I know 1 originates from the Glyph pack (and I don't think that came with any extras).

I also have 2 brown markers. I know these are not Morsbane's, as mine didn't include any markers when I bought him.

I do own SotM, but cannot remember if that came with a Gold or Brown marker and how many.

Any ideas where each of these would have come from?

Played one game on this map with 5 players. One player had to start in the middle and I had a feeling they'd get thoroughly seen to, so natually volunteered myself. Didn't end well.

Three player game lined up for tomorrow but how to use this map with three players is to be determined. Suggestions would be appreciated!

With the recent Remaster announcements, it seems like Renegade has a release model for each faction: Flag Bearer, Hero, Squad 1 (bonds with Flag Bearer), Squad 2 (bonds with Hero), plus bonuses.

You might know me as Cody from Cody's Cardboard where I post short-form content, almost entirely focused on Heroscape.

I have always been extremely grateful that we have ways to play this game online with friends: OHS, Vassal, or TTS. But I wanted something smoother that'd also make it easier to convince my friends to play online with me, or even try out Heroscape in the first place.

Y'all... You guys were actually so supportive of the last video I posted showing off the progress that was made on the videogame, that I decided to restart from scratch, instead of continuing to try to adapt that toolkit to what I needed. There's still a LOT that needs to be done, and the UI/lighting is far from its final form, but for all intents and purposes, this actually functions. My goal is to at least get the Rise of the Valkyrie master set into the game first, before distributing to playtesters.

If you're a Scaper based in the NYC area looking to jam some games, look no further! I run a monthly Heroscape Event series at Hex West in Manhattan. $17 entry, All Time casual play. All of our meetups are on the last ​Sunday of every month, 11am-3pm. New players are welcome, and spare armies will be on hand for new players to borrow and get a feel for the game.

We will have the new Taelord promos and Isamu 2.0 promos available! Each promo is only available to people who don't already have that promo, with new players as a priority over those with established collections.

Participation in the event also grants Battle Network points, which can be redeemed for prizes within the official Battle Network portal.

Format is casual, 500 point all-time (classic and contemporary legal) armies, Renegade Points, 24 figure limit/24 hex limit. We'll also be running an even more casual multi-player free for all format on 1-2 of the maps depending on interest to showcase the expansive nature of Heroscape and the different options it offers.

Proxies are allowed as long as they are a close approximation of the size and shape of the original figure so line of sight doesn't get messed up. Just make sure to ask your opponent first.

So ever since renegade took hold of heroscape and started remastering units, I always thought “where’s Marro? Where is Mimring? Where are the orcs?“

Where are Utgar’s staple forces, basically.

And I’m thinking that he’s going to come back and all of the classic Utgar forces will be showing up during that chapter. Right now it doesn’t make sense to bring them into the story while Loviatak is in charge. They’re scheming in the background.

Probably the biggest map I've made and will ever make

Space City brought our famous Maladrix standie, and our ⭐️ Drumtooth got the win. Two others made the top 8. Technically, there was a tie for 8th & 9th, and Space City also got 10th.

Looking forward to GenCon, we want revenge Pittsburgh 😉

I and a friend worked on this for the last couple weeks. Unfortunately, the toolkit we've been using has been a nightmare to adapt for Heroscape rules, so I think this is about where we're checking in. If I work on this project again, I'll be starting over completely from scratch, code-wise. However, the general sentiment in this community seems to be that we don't really care about or want a digitized version of the game.

So, I post this here so you all can see what could be.

I wanted to just make a map designed around a large bridge. I like how it turned out aesthetically.

Where can I go to make map building instructions like in the scenario books?

I've really been enjoying painting figures, almost as much as playing! Killian is very cool but seems kinda like a weaker Johnny Shotgun. Bok-Bur-Na seems really cool though

What's your usual go to for maps, do you prefer them flatter or do you like to have elevation to use to your advantage?

I’m trying to build an American historical set Anna came across something about a Massachusetts volunteer infantry but when I actually google it. It says that it doesn’t exist?

I thought the mini looked a little boring with mainly being brown, so I went over parts of it with a lighter green to give the impression of moss growing on it before hitting it with the wash.
