I bought my GA 2100WD thinking I would love it. For a few reasons it’s not been a watch I’ve enjoyed. I’ve listed the reasons as to why it’s not my favorite in other posts. So, this will be the watch I mod. My first plan was to make this like a true CasiOak, using a stainless steel mod kit, so it will have that Royal Oak look. But the other day I discovered that there are submariner kits for the GA 2100, so… The photo of with the submariner is AI showing me what my watch will look like with the kit I ordered. Needless to say I’m excited to get this mod soon! Anyone else have photos they can share of the mods they’ve done with the GA 2100 line?

I mean it looks cool, but I feel like it's moving into trying to be something it isn't. Seems gimmicky. At this point of design and at this price range you might as well get a mechanical Seiko, citizen or even a high quality Chinese homage/inspired watch wish sapphire crystal-- also without the big G-shock logo which I believe just cheapens a watch style like this. I think the GBM-2100 is a much better value and at least it maintains the core of what a G-shock is while also giving people their "luxury copycat" fix. I also think the GBM is good because it's not all metal,. I think all metal Casio's are kind of cheesy.. Personal preference. But anyway, that's my thoughts and I'm sure some agree and some won't. Cheers.

Edit: For people without any comprehension skills. This isn't a dig on the entire Casio lineup or brand. It's just an opinion on this type of watch style. Where G-shock drops all their usual features and just makes a basic quartz watch that purposefully looks like a luxury watch. And if you don't think this style was intentional, you're pretty naive.

I really want to buy the 5000U but would love to find another bezel and strap color. Preferably gray or tan. Does anyone know if it’s possible to mod it? If so, what other models fit the 5000U case?

Never thought this day will arrive after daily wearing the F-91W(my first watch) for 7 years. This GD-350-1B ticked off everything I wanted(discreet alerts, big digits, etc) and none of the things I hated in F-91W(small buttons, weak led, no afterglow, no current time display in other modes, etc). The negative display will make anybody to believe it as an AMOLED display.

Wrist size: little over 6 inches. Felt a little uncomfortable and a bit heavy the first time I tried out the watch in a physical store but my stubbornness to buy it was even heavier. After wearing it for a few hours, the watch feels completely natural and not that heavy anymore.

Price Paid (India): ₹4.5k ($48)

After hearing everything about Casio having stopped the manufacturing of GD-350, I was kinda shocked to see the date of manufacturing on the box to be August, 2026(China). Probably the recent release of the new colour variant, GD-350S-1, was a hint that the series still has a good time left before being buried.

Grabbed this one only cause of MIP display and it might become my daily driver . But it isn’t easy to navigate . Alarms and all are deep inside. But a beauty overall.

One things for certain I need a new box or a bigger box.

I’m a beginner when it comes to watch collecting, and I’ve always wanted to add a Casio to my collection. I couldn’t decide which one to pick, but as soon as I saw this G-Shock GR-B300H-5A model, I didn’t think twice. My only complaint is that it’s a bit too big for my wrist, haha!

Would you rather have Tough Solar and a true set-and-forget watch, or step tracking and vibration alerts?

MB6 isn't useful everywhere, so the fact that both watches can auto-sync via Bluetooth is a plus compared to more traditional squares without that feature.

Only interested in ones that are solar powered, also must have built in light sensor so the automatic function is automatic. Rather than having manually turn on night mode when you want the function.

Ending up going with the Mudmaster B1000, wanted something tough and durable and something that would last me a long time. Really impressed with the quality of this watch. Got it for 510$ shipped to my door. My credit card had a spend 500$ get 200$ back offer so I figured it was a good time to use it. Already have my eye on a few other watches lol

Different sellers on eBay from Japan are using the same exact photos for different watch listings, but the price differences are quite drastic. Has anyone else noticed this? I’ve seen this for all sorts of g shocks. Any idea why they’re doing this?

Got my first ever G-Shock 2 weeks ago in the GW-M5610U-1 and haven’t stopped looking for more since.
Picked up this GA-B001-1A for £45 and after looking through here to see what checks I could do to see it was legit, connected the Bluetooth straight away on the Casio Watches app and was a happy man when it connected straight up 🙌🏼

I picked up this slightly scuffed M5610U for £30.

For the price and about 20 minutes cleaning I think this has to be up there as one of the best value watches I've ever bought!

The question now is do I wear it as it is, or use this as my excuse for one of the metal mod kits?
