Hello! Me and my friend are new to GMod and we'd like to use matching playermodels of our favourite characters. I found some models on DeviantArt and tried to turn them into GMod playermodels, but it's not working. I don't know if I got the scaling or rigging wrong, the model shows up on the addon menu in-game but it's invisible when I try to spawn it.

Could anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, or maybe even help me convert the models into working playermodels? I've been trying to figure it out myself, but I'm still pretty unfamiliar with Blender and how GMod models work, so I'm honestly a bit lost. I'd really appreciate any advice or help, I'm more than willing to learn. Thank you!

Apparently someone converted these models that I made a sub reddit about into NPCS and playermodels which was something I've been waiting for!

I’m making it on zs scarlet devil mansion and it’s going to have custom wonder weapons music ee and (if possible) some kind of story quest, for the zombies I’m gonna use the zealots from re4 2005 and the starting pistol will be the Mauser from origins.

The plot is going to be reminiscent of re1 and the moon Easter egg, wesker is going to convince the crew that he can stop the Static (the name of the cosmic force creating zombies) by doing various rituals around the mansion, ultimately wesker uses the rituals to steal control of the static and become a god similar to how richtofen took control of the mpd.

The weapon pool will be infinite warfare and wolfenstein guns mostly

It was sniped around 1:00 this afternoon and quite frankly it ruined my Tuesday finally being able to glide around as Batman with freeflow combat, using the stones as infinity ultron, and having webs attach to buildings (Deadpool and Wolverine fully playable as well) after not having any content or sufficient alternatives to this after 10 plus years, felt like Icarus flying too close to the Sun but in all seriousness I think this represents a weird double standard with how superhero content is allowed to be on the workshop with tons of models player models ported w no issue or other types of sweps flying under the radar perfectly fine but this is where we cross the line... I think that it's ridiculous that projects like this are taken down without any type of real due process and grace period sure I'm not alone on this so interested to hear how others feel on this subject as well is it a double standard? or the guidelines being followed as intended?
