So don't buy the game until 2027, got it.

The game is already like 200 hours with just the current 4 lords. 4 more will add another 100+ hours, plus replaying act 3 again brings that to another +140-160 hours.

So with the DLC you are looking at a 350-400 hour game. . .

If I buy and beat it now, I either need to replay everything when all the dlc is out next year or jump back into a 6+ month old save and hope I remember what's going on. So I'll wait, maybe it even goes on sale (yeah, right).

An insane opinion to have if you knew anything about the game. Playing act 1 8 times in a row would be absolutely mind numbing

Playing Act 1 four times or eight makes little difference. The chances of me going back to a game after 6+ months just for dlc is slim.

This staggered dlc crap has been happening for a while. You don't have to know the ins and outs of the game to wait for the full version instead of keeping up with months of drip fed story dlc.

It would literally double the time you spend in act 1. For me that was 60 hours.

No you don't need to know the ins and outs, even a rudimentary knowledge of Act 1 alone would tell you exactly why Intelligent systems scrapped half of these characters paths from the base game.

Then if I play four now and four next year, it's still the same amount of time spent and I'd rather just have the whole game available when I start playing it.
