Yep. That and everything else you unlocked, but they did say XP progression will be increased this season. No idea how much

I'm kinda iffy on that cause it does kinda fuck up the people who can only dedicate weekends to gaming

Even if you play it regularly it's going to get tedious having to unlock stuff again and again and potentially never get to the upper tiers

Yet millions show up to CoD and prestige things a billion times every year. I don't think it'll chase off anyone who wasn't going to be a short-term player anyway.

Millions of people also level up once in CoD and never prestige and just enjoy the unlocked content. CoD doesn’t force you to restart every month.

Having to wait to start at a fresh wipe and then being happy to not play it at the next wipe, or have to restart the grind and then lose it all again is a different level of external restriction. People who want to play a game for a bit prefer to choose for themselves when they start and when they stop
