I tried it but the grind in combination with the wipe just isn't for me. Hoping there will be alternative game modes/mechanics in the future because the gameplay itself was really good imo.
They have an hour long press release video where they touched on progression. Sounds like unlocks will be based on a new currency in the future (intel) that will be obtained differently from xp. No real details on what that means, but they openly admit that the xp grind is shit and is just a quick solution to get the game out and have something for progression.
Sounds interesting! Still, our group is going to wait a little bit more. The grind/wipe are not our only gripes with the game but atm they are the biggest.
As I said, gameplay is really good and refreshing between al the fast paced shooters. We will just check it from time to time and maybe after a while it clicks!
