Abiotic Factor gets no love?

I want to get Valheim but some of you are putting me off.

I really loved Subnautica, mainly because it scared the shit out of me, and wandering off anywhere was risky.

The game had some nice lore that made sense and didn't hold your hand much at all.

I need something I can really sink my teeth into, and I'm seeing a lot of nice looking games out there, but I feel many of them are a bit shallow?

Would love some recommendations and insights.

Id say our thoughts in Valheim are squarely in the minority. Never even heard of Abiotic Factor, much less have an opinion on it. :)

Abiotic Factor is like Half-Life, but you're just a waif of a scientist so you fumble about a lot reloading your weapons until you have enough experience reloading that you can reload a gun almost normally.

And you have to poo, but you can use poo for crafting.

Yes, you can use it to make soil, which can be used to make explosives. Have a go!
