I found RSDW a bit monotonous. It seems like every biome except one is the exact same gameplay loop, and honestly I don't think I'd even play the 1.0 of it. It does have great strengths in its magic systems and use of skills, and the base building is quite good, but overall much less than I wanted from it when I bought at launch. They really tried to copy valheim with an rs skin on it.
Enshrouded really pushes what you can try to do in a survival game and I appreciate that. It also has big flaws and strengths, overall I think it's the more "adventurous" game, both in gameplay and development.
